I remember being the first one through the gate at like 5:30 a.m. when I visited in March 2007. it was amazing to see the sunrise over the Taj Mahal. it was an experience I'll never forget

They really enjoyed it. These kids are very environmentally deprived, low socio-economic, so this is a world of wonder to them. I try to show them culture and that there is a whole other world out there!

My two homeschooled boys (ages 11 & 7) & I just watched this as a supplement to our history lesson today. All we had was a picture in our history book, so we checked to see if someone had toured the Taj Mahal on video. Yours is the first we found, and they loved it! The demonstration of the echo was fantastic! Thank you for taking the time to film & upload a nice, basic foot tour. They were curious as to why it's so dark inside, if you know the answer. I assume it's because it's a tomb and there are no windows, other than the grated window that was shown.

Beautiful!.The view from the entrance is very dramatic!The entrance is intentionally narrow so that when you enter you can only see the Taj as if it is some formation of cloud! Yes one should visit when there is no crowd then only you can enjoy its Beauty fully.

The influence of persian, İndian, arab can not be ignored in this architectural movement. But in the end it is the creation of dreams of the kings who have made these constructions. Shah Jehan is personally the work of the world and is a dream!! and he is a Turkic king

Staying in India I have never seen the Taj Mahal in real life... but I think this would have looked even more beautiful if there were peacocks roaming around in that garden area right outside the Taj.

The Taj Mahal was build by the Uzbek-Turkic Mughals not by the Indians who are a native peasant culture/civilization! They were Islamic-Turkic invaders who occupied the whole Indian subcontinent! From this era there are many beautiful buildings left!

Mumtaz Mahal - it was what she was addressed in the palace. Her actual name was Arjumand Bano Begam . Begam is like saying Ms or Miss.
