What incredible writing, what a wonderful message to send to men about how to respond to something so terrible, and to women about what they deserve in the aftermath.
I'm along with Jeffrey. I was really absorbed in the original "Phillip and Beth" storyline. I actually videotaped this episode (No longer have it.) The missing part is when Beth first tells Phillip that she was raped, that I think is here. What is missing-- he explodes in anger and frustration in not protecting Beth. Because of the shock, he briefly runs off. Beth walks toward a mirror with lipstick and blots her image out and leaves. Phillip returns seeing her gone and runs to look for her. They find each other and the "talk it out" is where this video restarts I believe.
Have you seen a full episode of this online to watch? For the little missing scenes? I mean, I'm grateful for this one, but would like to see the whole episode if I can.
I knew this was the episode where she told Phillip about the rape. I started watching around 83 but wasn’t really into it as much until about 86 when I was a little older to understand what I was watching. Excellent writers and actors
Bradley Raines adopted Beth. They never divulged Lillians first husbands name, or whether or not she had other children, or even if Bradley had other children.
