About legendaries. They said they changed the way they're doing those by rolling them out with living story. So there will be gen 3 ones they're probably just going along with season 4. I'm guessing dagger, scepter, or longbow are next.
am i the only one who opened this video just to find out what a "build template" is and got disappointed? XD 13:40 - They wont include new races because most ppl already have their classes and races are not important gameplaywise. So adding new races would only be interesting for a small amount of presumably new players and it would be relatively hard to do them (ontop of additional animations for every class and every weapon they would also have to create a new personal story etc.) Short: a lot of energy would go into something that most ppl are just not interested in (my personal interest for a new race is about 0)
joe the sheep I'm one of those "altoholics" that like to have as many characters as possible and new races or classes would be like the most interesting thing that the game can provide to me. I really want at least the tengu race.(gw factions player here) but I know some ppl wouldn't mind not having a new race at all. Remember that vast majority didn't want mounts to be in the game and now we'll have them and everybody or at least in general people love them. New races can be fresh air too. I'm also disappointed by the lack of build templates.
what the heck are build templates? Do u meant "saving builds". I never said noone would like new races but its defenitly nothing many ppl would want. The vast majority (me included) didnt like mounts like in other MMOs. They give us Mounts now but (like always) they are doing it in a very different way. Mounts are not degraded to a simple speed boost they will have jumps, ports and various other abilities which are necessary to explore the new maps. I dont mind these kind of mounts (i am basically neutral here but i am also not a lot in PVE so...)
ok thx. Already thought something along those lines. I personally dont like those systems because it encourages one to stop thinking. If u know how your build works you can change your entire equipment, Skills and traits within a minute. If you dont know how your build works its probably better to think about it while "finding" the right traits, skills, weapons ^^. However, i can totally see why ppl would want that.
Races could be important and meaningful if only they added some race specific content, and it doesnt have to be early game stuff. The real problem with new playable races is the fact that they can't fit in the current story. I mean, any player character has to be the commander of the pact, to be the leader of that new guild (can't remember the name), to have a special bound with Aurene, to have lived all those adventures our characters went through. It is impossible for a new character who hasnt been there since the begining to take that role.
what i want to see is the net code, i mean i would like to hear them talk about it, the servers and stuff. maybe tell me why WvW my game mode always has huge lag spikes when the 3 servers clash and why it cant be solved. but the net code is not as pretty as the graphics to lots of people so... another thing i want that is impossible to get in current reality.
