Covering the entire Leave Home album, mostly the 40th Anniversary mixes. Barre chords and downstrokes, just like the record. I always felt this song was more effective live, but here I’ve overdubbed the clean guitars to match the album. It’s the same full barre chords used when the chorus kicks in. The guitar is a customized strat with a Hallmark "The '67" Mosrite-style pickup, and the amp is the Softube Marshall Plexi Super Lead 1959. Thanks for watching!

Super! Great sound and playing. What guitar are you playing? Look like a modified strat.

Thanks! It is indeed a modified strat, I installed a Hallmark ‘67 pickup in the bridge to get a fatter sounding single coil, kinda like Johnny Ramone’s Mosrites. It’s also a twangy pickup though, so I use EQ before the amp to cut treble frequencies I don’t need. I also gave the strat a new pick guard, all new internals, new volume pot, better tuners, shielding paint in the body, a custom painted headstock... it was a bit of an overhaul!

@@Brugno If you look at one of my oldest videos "Johnny Ramone Guitar Technique" there's a picture with chord diagrams in the description, along with tips about his playing style. This song uses to two major chord shapes, you just have to look at which frets to play them at
