Is a New Camper/RV Worth it? More Problems! More issues with the Gulfstream Innsbruck Ultra Lite Camper. This camper has a lot of issues for a purchased new (6 month old) Camper! Will not buy or recommend this brand ever! And by the emails I sent and answer I got from the company, they just do not care!
After almost 60 years on this planet I am used to disappointment! From new to used equipment and everything between I have had to deal with it. This video is to show people what to look for when buying a camper/RV new or used and to be aware of somethings to look for! As far as for me I just roll with the punches but will be sure to voice my displeasure on anything I buy that isn't up to snuff!

I learned years ago campers are engineered leaks from factory. Worst investment of money there is.

We bought a Gulfstream brand new in Airdrie Alberta. Since we have owned it it has had to have the microwave replaced, the furnace repaired twice, the hot water tank repaired all within the first year of ownership. Not to mention the litany of cosmetic issues that needed to be fixed. There is nothing like going camping in the middle of winter and not having heat!!! We thought buying new would give us years of hassle free camping - we regret buying GulfStream and will never again give our money to this company! I will never buy a new camper again. Save your money and buy a pre-covid camper! One last thing, the freakin drop down stairs are a horrible idea. Is anyone able to properly shut the door with these things? Please let me know if there is a trick to this!

The sad thing is that this kinda stuff was going on before the pandemic. Now that they are cranking them out as fast as they can it really seems that the problem has gotten a lot worse. I don't know who is having to pay the dealers to fix all the problems but I hope it is the manufacturers.

I bought a 2022 Gulf Stream Envision built in mid-2021. It looked nice at the dealership, but as time has passed, the more shoddy workmanship I see. I have been trying to take care of all of the issues myself, such as recaulking the entire outside and fixing the numerous plumbing issues. It has been one thing after another. Since I purchased it used, it’s all on my to fix it. It has been a nightmare.

Forest River products are also poorly manufactured. Absolutely "zero" Quality Control in the manufacture of RV's .They change the interior colors to make them appealing.....but never invest in better manufacturing control!

Mike most want to know where their products are made. It seems your trailer manufacturer is selling on Made In America and not quality of manufacturer. Years back some auto manufacturers went down that road and paid a heavy price but they learned the hard way and changed . My new truck built in Ft Wayne Indiana is about as perfect of a truck as I have ever seen . I could not find one minor thing wrong with the truck. 20 years ago when I built cars and trucks finding defects was much easier . Buying American still means high quality products but not all American companies are interested in quality over sales so they sell on other manufacturers reputation till their shody work is exposed . Well I'd say you exposed enough for me to not buy that brand . Awesome vid 👍

It is truly amazing how there is no such thing as quality products any more. You would think that a quality company would at least stand behind their poor quality by offering some kind of compensation.

Sigh. I love what the camper should be, but am totally disgusted at how little care went into the manufacturing as it wasn't cheap! And even sadder because it was American made. Thank God for warrentees.
