The characters Isak and Even, played by Henrik Holm and Tarjei Sanvik Moe, talked to VGTV about playing in «SKAM», acting as boyfriends and making out. Publisert på VGTV 12.05.2017. Denne videoen er tillatt for alle.
What amazes me the most is that they are really cool with everything. When we see interviews of straight guys that play gay roles, the things they say are all carefully planned and sort of cold. They say things like: it was interesting, it was challenging, it was important, we commited to the character or storyline, etc. And they never, NEVER talk about the experience behind the kiss and sex scenes. Everything is very reasonable, but they avoid anything "emotional". Henrik and Tarjei, on the other hand, just go for it: it's easy to play that we are in love, he's a good kisser, it's fun, etc. It's refreshing to finally see the "homossexual experience" of the actors being treated with the naturality it deserves!
Watch MaxTul interview, they are Thai actors who starred in a BL series named together with me. Their chemistry is so spot on, you can't help but ship them forever.
all actors should feel exactly the same as Henrik when he said "there is nothing scary about kissing or making out with a boy" and Tarjei when said, "it's the same as making out with a girl" if you are acting and you are male then just because it is a girl you are kissing doesn't make it any less awkward if that girl is not your real life girlfriend. they have obviously been raised by good parents who have taught them that love is love whether it is between a couple of the same or opposite sex as each other and that being gay is no basically no different than being heterosexual. i think that these two guys did an awesome job with their acting and the emotion that they put into their scenes together. i just wish that their relationship had lasted and that at the 20 years later reunion show that they were married to each other, oh well, i can pretend. i look forward to seeing them both in other shows (if i get access to them as i am in the UK).
Omg you said that so well, totally agreed on everything, you should maybe not think so but it’s alot off homophobia in Norway, kind off hidden homophobia, and this show was just so realistic, I loved every second off this show. I’m not gonna lie I kinda only watched skam for season 3😂
Interviewer: "Is Henrik a good kisser?" *Henrik eyeing Tarjei curiously* Tarjei: " He is a VERY GOOD kisser" *Henrik trying so hard to not squeal* I AM DEAD YES I AM DEAD DONE
@@femalehitchhikersguidetoth8990 Ofc they are actors , but not every gay couple actors have this kind of interaction or chemistry ..It's rare ...We are not shipping them or anything just saying some facts
I love that they mention how it’s their job. Media always wants to dismiss that it’s their job to have scenes like that and try to create it into something else. These boys seem lovely and have good partnership when it comes to working together :)
I can only imagine how many times they've had to answer these questions, yet they're so sweet and jovial about it. And Henrik's right, the chemistry is just 👌I wonder if they realise just how much they've changed lives and fought off the overall prejudice just by bringing that incredible storyline to life, by being so nonchalant and just plain happy about playing boyfriends. Amazing, we need more wholesome stuff like this.
