@@SuperMatiz So because I've done this on Ebisu Touge, it wasn't too much of a shock to the system doing it at Gunsai. It definitely feels very weird, but I'm concentrating so much, I'm not really thinking about it. What was difficult though was my goggles moving on my face from the bumps in the road, which would make it blurry to see where I was going haha
The POV drone piloting is insane! Hats off to the pilot for enduring that. I get slight motion sickness from normal VR racing and Im sitting still... I cant imagine what this would be like! Vision telling you one thing and the motion/G forces telling your body something completely different.
Seeing Alexei getting freaked while sitting shotgun reminds me of Iketani when Takumi took out his S13. You think you know your car until someone else shows you differently. The drone footage is getting awesome, and it's certainly. A new angle I hope is here to stay, or at least play a part.
pretty sure iketani had the levin ae85 ( correction below) correction it was a trueno ae85 that isuki had. wataru had the levin 86, and iketani green s13. there are two scenes involving takumi driving his friends' cars and both isuki and iketani freaked out.
I got car sick thinking about trying to control that drone whilst driving along. Dude's a frigging hero. 360 cam looked amazing, if you could zoom it in a faction you might be able to avoid some of the little bits of drone coming into shot. Amazing video once again and thank you to all involved ❤️
Pro driver, and Alexi wasn't half bad either considering it was his first drive on a sketchy track. Love how he figured out the rear end after the spin and still sent it, and talking about worn tyres was that sparks off the steel radials in the final FPV shots?
Damn that was awesome! Seeing shots that I was thinking that are only available in Assetto Corsa on Gunsai, was just breathtaking! Also seeing and hearing you happy with the new car during it's first proper shakedown is just so fun to watch ❤
I feel like these Japanese dudes are down for anything and seem like they are always so chill and fun to be around, and are like permanently in the "the glass is half full" mindset. Also an amazing looking curvy track, and much respect for people who can pilot drones that fast using the POV goggles.(and of course these extremely talented drivers) Love the endless possibilities you can film with those things. Thanks for sharing 👍
That 360 drone shot was the best drifting/car related content I've ever seen. Gotta hand it to you guys, you're really pushing the envelope here. Amazing stuff Alexi.
That 360 cam on the drone is the coolest drift view i’ve ever seen (and i’ve been watching this stuff since Tengoku, Best Motoring, Hot Version, etc. since the 90s). You can really feel the speed, and it gets you so close to the action, it makes you feel like you’re in a chase car. More of these types of videos please!!!
This was so sick! Awesome to see the S15 get a shakedown finally, great to have Lonno on board too, he's a gem. I'm psyched for the content coming up 😁
hell yeah brother soo good to see you grippin and rippin again that drone footage was gnarly idk how often lonno will be available to film with you but it just kicks the videos up a notch
the insta360 on the drone was fire. the way the rotors came in to frame to give more of a perspective on distance and like a lil reminder of what is realy going on.
That drone footage at the end was the best drift chase footage and thank you for showing the setup and idea behind it all and how hard it is to do. The sound of the engine through those tight forest bends is so awesome too. Great to see the S15 out driving now too.
Wow this session was NUTS so much action so much wow. The last run with the drone was amazing with the sparking tires etc. keep up the good work and i hope there will be more in the near future!
The first set of drone footage was my favorite. All the trees around the track frames everything really nicely and adds to the sense of speed. The angles looked great with the camera rolling up close in the turns.
Between the great first person in car shots and the god tier FPV shots you have the ability to create some absolutely next level cinematic driving cuts. Always love your videos Alexei but this was some of the coolest shit I've seen in a long time.
Fantastic video, Alexi! I smiled throughout the video. The amount of nostalgia I get from Gunsai is unreal! BestMotoring, Touge Monster, Orido crashing with the roadster etc so much... Two much to write about... GREAT quality and can't wait for more.
@@edinburghbiker689 YES! 👌🤣 "Set me free... HIGHER and HIGHER~" Legendary. Orido crashing with the Miata and Tsuchiya's 1st reaction just laughing at him 😁
"I'm gonna be bracing my knees everywhere here today". Just like Bunta with the AE86 engine swap. Chasing Sato with the drone is like the closest we'll ever to get to IRL chase cam in sims/motorsport games!
