The crux of this Episode: [L] Carnitine is needed to Transport fatty acids to produce Energy in the mitochondria! But so is Coenzyme A. - which requires Vitamin B5 as a co-factor. - that's why we also need our B Vitamins! Cardiolipin needs to BE in adequate supply (a phospholipid exclusively found in mitochondrial membrane) to make mitochondrial enzymes (cytochrome c oxidase) work properly. All of this is to produce the most important antioxidant in the mitochondria: called Melatonin. So, the core of fatty acid metabolism in the mitochondria is dependent in Melatonin production. Could it BE said that Natural foodbase Melatonin can help facilitate this process then? If so, then Herbatonin may be our answer 🙏🏿🙏🏿

Ooh thanks for pointing out Herbatonin. I'll try that one after my next melatonin experiment. I'm a melatonin addict for sleep onset unfortunately. ) :

It breaks my heart when people suffer unnecessarily. Insomnia can be so stressful. (Is there also nocturia?) This condition happens when you are low on magnesium, vitamin C and potassium, while high in cortisol. Simply eating guava and organic oats will correct the hormones. Besides Herbatonin, another herb that is very effective at calming the nerves and increasing the ability to sleep restfully is called blue vervain. While adrenaline keeps us up - or wakes us up - blue vervain works on the parasympathetic nervous system, that makes us relax. It can be consumed multiple ways: as tea, tincture, cream or capsule. My personal preference is to use it as a non-alcoholic tincture one hour before bed. Pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, the “anemic” and those on blood thinners should avoid this herb however.

Everything I recommend, I also do. There is a natural progesterone cream I also love, called: Platt pro 5%. I think you will like it 🙏🏿

I just did some research on blue vervain products. I think a great choice is: HerbEra Blue vervain. This should help with the your sleep onset immediately. If you decide to give it a try, let me know how it worked 🙏🏿

@@Diogenes-II Thanks. I'm going to play with my time release melatonin for a bit - melatonin works great for me for sleep onset, but maybe I'll try Blue Vervain at some later point.

I don't know. You hit if I agree or disagree. You often present new ideas to me. What's your background?

I was born in the Caribbean, came to America when I was 18 years old -- that was 30 years ago. Went to school for Communications and Political science -- I have no formal medical training. But I love to research and search for the truth.
