Yeah lordy, almost makes me wish I hadn't bought that Halo last week. ALMOST. It just means that I have to be careful sneaking this one in past my wife, or I wait until Christmas or something like that. I'll make it work Robert, good job on it you are the master.

Incredibly close in comparison! Wow. What amp (or modeler?) are these running into? Curious how much the edge of breakup sound is coming from pushing on tubes versus pure clipping from the pedal itself.

Looks they are at Brett Papa’s studio and ran it into that divided by 13 amp that’s on in the background and then into those ox boxes in the back as well… amp is probably set to just about breaking up, but that’s all just guessing, they could have been running into something completely different off camera 🤷🏽‍♂️🤓

It's called Commodity off of his second album Life After Dark. It's beautiful isn't it? There's a great live version of it up on RU-vid as well.

They are going to sell a ton of these at that price point. I do not know anything in regards to whether the originals were patented but others have copied the sound on individual pedals so seems not so much. In any case, I have viewed about 4 artists trying this pedal out with seemingly good results. May get one to add to the HX Stomp as IMO the drive fx in that unit are avg at best.

ikr, sadly we had some difficulties as everything was one take only as a variety of scheduled people played the rig. The setup changed enough that we just didn't keep up with the variations in all cases...
