Guyanese 🇬🇾Coconut Pineapple Buns  

Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/4 tsp baking powder
1 stick butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp nutmeg
Pinch of salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp almond essence
1 1/4 cup pineapple jam (homemade)
1 egg
2 cups freshly grated coconut
Cherries ( optional)
