It's not overpriced, compared to prado its much much better while costing half as much. Blame weak economy and depreciated rupee don't blame the company for making a quality product.

Those who are saying it's over priced need to understand that a zero meter 2024 model prado Costs more than 5crore and Land cruiser more than 7crore. So, this being a Chinese and zero meter from showroom is cheaper that way. You can't just compare a used prado model with a new car.

And I started having thoughts of purchasing with miss understanding of it being cheap.

For those unfamiliar with the automotive landscape, especially those who self-proclaim as car enthusiasts, the TANK 500 competes with the Prado, not the LC300 or V8. Labeling it as expensive or overpriced without considering the rupee's depreciation presents an incomplete picture. I was always curious, but today I realized why some Indian commentators might be mocking us on various platforms.

People commenting here don’t have a clue what they are talking about. This is unlike anything you have ever seen from a Chinese brand. Wait for it, you will be amazed what it can do. 1 own Tank 500 but the ICE version 3.0 Twin Turbo and it knocks both LC300 and PATROL down. Size wise it is bigger than LC300 and Smaller than PATROL but off road capabilities and features wise it is far better than both. Log yahan pai 1 crore ki fazool civic lai laitay hain but not this 😂

The price of this model in UAE is AED195K. Multiply it with exchange rate and it is 1.5crore rupees... so they are charging 3crores additional in the name of Taxes !!

And for the first time it felt like k does it really look any good from its exterior aesthetics to suneel manjh the way he is explaining his regarding about its good looks.

Its a beautiful car and is very famous here in China... and people who are concerned about its price ... it is not cheap here locally in china too.. they should bring TANK 300 too to Pakistan coz thats the most famous one here in China ..

Sir kindly do an proper fuel economy test... its very vague the fuel economy figueres M.D Sazgar is giving. some times he say 10l/ 100km. some times say 12l/100km, while the meter avg is 13.5liter/100km.

Beautiful and Best fully loaded car. Due to price, i think not bad price as we also buy toyota prado and land cruiser in same prices and those cars doesn't have features like this. So 4.5 crores are high but not as compare to other cars in Pakistan

Thank you so much for this review. My personal favorite however is the BAIC BJ40. I just love that old school Jeep look. While I am feeling good about China producing cars such as GWM Tank 500. But I feel sad that we are promoting imported cars but not manufacturing cars inside our own country. Please visit Iran and see how they are producing cars 100% inside Iran. Surely, domestically produced cars will not be as feature rich, good looking and comfortable but as Pakistanis we must do that because we are in huge debt and are manufacturing noting other than Aam Ka Achar. Importing these cars will only cause us to take more loans. Let's learn to live within our means.

I am a Haval HEV user and I market the product everywhere in my friends' circle like I am a part of the Sazgar sales team (like the jeep so much). But there is no way on earth I would spend 4.5 crore on a Chinese 2.0 liter jeep that does 9-10 km/l. Sportage was a hit because there was no car in that segment when it was launched Changan Karavan was a hit because there was no AC daba in the market. Halal HEV was a hit because there was no other hybrid in that category TANK 500 could have been a similar product. And with the goodwill generated by Haval HEV sales, Sazgar could have once again benefitted heavily. A Haval HEV costs about $42,000 in Australia which is about 75 lacs PKR (without duty). So selling it for 1.2 crores is reasonable specially when it gives 20+km/l mileage, A tank 500 costs about $72,000 in Australia which is about 1.25 cores PKR (without duty). You mean to say the duty on this 2 liter engine jeep is 3.25 core? who in his right mind will buy a Chinese 2.0 liter jeep that does about 10 km/l for 4.5 crore. Banda itne ka 2019 Range Rover P400 na le ley which is also 2 liter and gives the same mileage. HUGE missed opportunity by Sazgar!
