for those of us less skilled, Id suggest using a needle nose pliers in placing the spring. theres not alot of room to work with, and a needle nose, makes it just a bit roomier.

Ur spindle gear only moves for a sec wen u turn it n stay still. mines keep spinning to long n be popping out a place wen it's suppose to connect with my gear on the left why is that?
I already paid $100 for mine to get repaired. Ive ridden it for 4 weeks and the bushing behind has failed which has lead to a fucked kick starter again. I've spent hours trying to put the spring on and haven't been able to do it. I think its because I havent pulled the gold/green spring cover off mine. The reason I havent done that is because i dont think I can get the nut for the clutch cyclinder off. All i have is battery impact driver and a breaker bar but trying to take the nut off spins the cylinder.
How about 2002 ET4 .I have not get start yet. Would you should me how to get connect the vacummline and what kind of gasoline to use or not to use for this scooter?

Thanks. I was curious because my kickstart lever was so stuck, I forced it by hard kicking it & the lever stripped. Now it’s hanging. Going to replace the lever and the gear once I open it up tomorrow
If I take those 2 gears out, will the scooter still start and run without them if I only want electric start? I want to keep the kick start off for new variator cover.
