Her is also a piano player and drummer plus she says she’s played a little sax, violin and is learning the upright bass. As a hip hop head I always thought Stapleton was a once in a generation voice. Tennessee Whiskey spanned all genres these 2 are the best representation of talent out here

Have to admit, I've never paid much attention to H.E.R., but damn, they sound good together! And she's got that guitar cranked up. You can literally hear it crackling! Stapleton is always awesome, no matter what he sings.
When they get to Chris’s part and harmonize “how do get somewhere comfortable…” and then H.E.R sings.. that is some of the most beautiful singing I have ever heard in my entire life and this is by far my fav collab EVER because it is just that beautiful

This was an incredible collaboration. The track is originally by H.E.R. but Chris Stapleton definitely added something to it. They both brought raspy and rythmic heat on this. Real music is real music. Genres can't contain this version of the song. Respect

It's always amazing to watch H.E.R. and her Strat meld into a single being of pure, unadulterated emotional bliss. Chris absolutely nailed it too!! FINALLY! A beautiful crazy talented girl keeping with all her clothes on, and proving you don't need dancers and rappers to entertain. When your good you need nothing. And of course Stapleton is a God Chris is the most amazing versatile singer of this generation. There is no genre his voice doesn't fit. But H.E.R is a goddess, her voice is gorgeous and her guitar skills are amazing. This is EXACTLY how an amazing collaboration is supposed to sound.
When you have an artist with Chris' longstanding acclaim (way before his breakout) in the country music world seeking out H.E.R. because he knows her greatness it tells you all you need to know. Great artists (regardless of Genre) seek out other great artists. This is a classic case of two great ones collaborating and making some magical for us to enjoy for years to come.

First gig: 1974,Rod Stewart & The Faces,Lewisham Odeon, London SE10. As nearly 14y/olds, my mates were getting hysterical over the Bay City Rollers, The Osmonds & David Cassidy. Me...ftom the age of 11 I was raiding my next-sister-up's very eclectic music collection and listening to loafs of Ska, Free, Cream, a bit of Pink Floyd, any old Blues etc😂. Thank You sis. ❤
I've known of Chris Stapleton and what he could do but not of this girl. She's special! That voice, that range and control, that efortless performance while making the guitar literally sing at the same time, wow, superb! This one was an earjoy and an emotional journey. Keep up the great work and keep these gems coming, Gabriella! And that nice hair, reminding you of Diana Ross. :) Kudos to the band and the choirs, they're some great musicians and singers as well.
