Herr Himmler walked into the cathedral, once and only once. He had already risen the black sun, missiles chaotically crossed paths in the sky flying towards doomed nations. He slowly walked down the empty pews, to the front of the altar. He looked up at Herr Christ, still crucified on the wall. Suddenly, his mind was clear. Was it all worth it? In his eyes he hoped to improve the world, but he then realized that the world would never be the same. The Aryans wouldn't rise. No one would. The smoke and ash from the millions of fires from across the flaming land would completely cover the entire earth, blocking out the sun and resulting in a nuclear winter spanning an undetermined amount of centuries. No bunker could last that amount of time. He had ended humankind, forever. Himmler, realizing this, took a bible from a pew and sat under the altar. With the recently found fear of god within him, he opened the book to a random page. "Jesus wept" Herr Himmler began crying and thought of his life, and how it led up to this point. The faces of the dead haunted him for the first time. His failed solution would be his last sin. His body felt a presence in the empty cathedral, a warm tingling sensation ran down through him. Suddenly Herr Himmler felt a powerful, overwhelming sensation in his chest as he bent forward and held it in shock. The feeling went as quickly as it came. Feeling the presence of Herr Christ with him, Herr Himmler bent back up and endlessly looked at him still on the wall. "I'm sorry. I dreamed I could bring about a better world, but.. I was wrong. It's too late for humanity and its my fault. I don't deserve your forgiveness". He shook as he turned the pages of the bible again. Something caught his eye. "If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land." "I've destroyed everything you created, If you have mercy upon me, you will heal the things I have done" He flipped the pages of the book for the final time, until he reached a text that seemed to glow. "Though we are overwhelmed by our sins, you forgive them all" He longingly stared at the passage. "God.. please forgive me."

[OFFTOP DRUNK THOUGHTS] The scariest thing about TNO is that in this damned world, even the villains no longer seem so bad against the general background, if you take a closer look at them. Himmler has a clear view of the world, even grounded in observable reality (although these are "not entirely" correct conclusions from correct premises). He has the honor and full awareness of what and why he is doing. He has the courage to admit and accept evil in the name of saving the world, as he understands it, and he understands that it is precisely evil that he does, unlike many fictional and real villains. But the main thing here is that he has honor in the most primordial, medieval sense. He understands that he is not good enough for the new world, and is ready to accept responsibility for what he has done. He will not hide in a bunker with everyone, broadcasting about a bright future under his rule. He will look from the window of his cabinet at the bombs falling and... Probably smile. And, surprisingly, the world will really get better after that. *** On the other hand, Yazov can also be understood. Mercy and forgiveness are good. But not when all your relatives and friends are dead or in slavery, the earth is scorched and poisoned, and even when the last people rose to go to the last battle, reeling from weakness, they lost. Again. When all hope is gone, when she is killed, torn and crushed by the Nazi jackboot - remains one last thing no one can take away: hatred. Sizzling, burning your soul and others blood. You have nothing more to lose, because everything that was dear to you in this world has already been destroyed. There is only one thing left - revenge. At any price. With tears in your eyes and the realization that you most likely will not survive it, but you must take the enemy with you to the grave. Not for yourself, but for those who have not lost everything yet. For their hope, for their future. So that one day these people would come out of the bunkers to the already almost harmless land and see the sun, not obscured by the silhouettes of Nazi planes. That's what his promise of democracy after Great Trial really means. Hatred gains strength when you have nothing to lose and have nothing to live for, when, in order to destroy your opponent, you are ready to burn yourself as fuel for victory. Perhaps this will not be enough, but then, dying, you can not tell yourself that you did not do everything.

World has ended, and only one survivor left in the bunker of burgund. He stood up from desk and ready for his last meal. The ration was left no more. The sun goes down, and he played his radio that recorded last sound of his roommates. It wasn't loud or buzzy, but calm and cozy. The night was deep and his cheek was warm because of teardrops from his eyes. The man who survived, the last standing man in whole world, the man that lived in great loneliness that no men ever experienced. He prayed to god, "Mein Gott... Why me...". The moan and weeping was echoing the voided halls of bunker... and the lights that remain last in this earth has start to faded out from his room.
Here is my version of the end, without the 'last man' plotline: As he sat in that dark room, he felt for his Luger. He contemplated killing himself for a long while, going over his past. He wondered why he joined this wretched nation that destroyed the perfect chaotic world that it was, not this poisoned wasteland. At what cost did any of this happen? He lit up a match for a candle he brought in case of this scenario, and as he sat in the candlelight, with the Luger in front of it. Should he stay alive for a while or end it there? As he decided the former, his gun raised, he heard footsteps. He turned around, and in the dimly litten room, he saw a few soldiers with their guns pointing. He knew from the appearance of them it was Yazov's men, ready to take vengeance. "Who would be first to shoot?" all of them wondered. And the next moment, they all started crying silently. He put down the Luger and sat there, as they all contemplated the worth of what happened. And in that dark bunker, in the former city, in the former county, in the former country, in the destroyed continent, in the new world, there was peace.
It's captivation, isn't it? Something is unfathomably evil that it is sort of interesting to watch. Yeah, I feel you, quite paradoxical. But then again, these charms dispel quickly once you wrap your head around the evil committed
@@Reverenz88-14 True that but as time goes on wrongdoings and attrocities become less and less impactful on you. Eventually you've stared too long into the dark to be phased or shocked anymore by the horrors.
Madness also does not have to equate evil. What Yazov did wasn't evil, but pure madness, for his cause is just. Himmler on the other hand, is pure evil.
The being stepped off the metal vehicle. Around it was a wasteland of ash and destroyed buildings. "Anybody here?" The being spoke in its insectoid language. It started to walk towards the ruins of the city. What it saw was hundreds of ruined banners with the insignia of what looked like... a black sun. Around the corner was the bones of the species that used to inhabit this world. The thing it was looking for. The being put the ash-covered bones into it's case. Again, the being walked into one of the cities of this planet of ruins. There it was, a massive blast door, leading somewhere underground. The being opened it using the button. The blast door began to move apart, revealing hundreds of.. bodies. Bipedal, two armed corpses. Of troopers and farmers, of scientists and engineers, all with flesh rotted and bones showing. "What happened to this world?"
When I listen to this with the context these comments give I can’t help but think of my own life. Sometimes I sit and feel like Himmler before Herr Christ and this song syncs so well with that.
Now that you are an official music creator for TNO,this could make for a great nuke theme if your playing burgundy and initiate global thermonuclear war.
I personally think it would fit more Germany or a minor nation, imagine a minor nation, can do nothing to stop the nukes from flying and destroying your homeland, just watch.
@@bartmacgregor6078 I think it's an intentional double meaning: It is both Elhaz as well as the Upside-down Peace Sign: A twisted inversion of Peace mixed with the Germanic Rune. It fits Burgundy perfectly: A twisted, demonic symbol of evil that turns in on itself in the end, and destroys everything.
In the beginning it sounds as if there are bombs being dropped, represented by the heavy bass But then after a while, the bass, the bombs, it all starts fading into Christ's song as all things are and all things ever will be
When Himmler walked to the gates of heaven he saw the lone figure of St. Peter when he approached him St. Peter simply looked him dead in the eye and said “God loves us beyond comprehension and we cannot diminish Gods love for us but you Heinrich Luitpold Himmler have destroyed everything God holds dear and now God doesn’t love you, God hates you”
Himmler was then banished from Heaven- God wept as his kingdoms, nations- nay- his people were left smoldering and in ruin. Himmler was dragged to Hell- a demon stood at the gates. This demon stared at Himmler's cold eyes for an eternity. They were not full of fire like the madman Hitler- or the righteous fury of Yazov- not even were they filled with the demented energy of Taboritsky. When the demon stared- he saw nothing. The demon simply ordered Herr Himmler to follow him, through each circle of Hell they went- the demons stopped in thier punishments and the screaming souls of the damned stopped in thier torment. A few recognized him, but all could not avert thier gaze. Finally as the last circle came and Himmler walked across the frozen lake of ice and towards the center- where Lucifer sat- frozen for his great betrayal of God- he awoke. The ice around Lucifer melted as he released himself from the frozen lake of traitors. And soon Himmler was ordered into the cavity which Lucifer left. He would take Lucifers place- frozen for all eternity at the bottom of Hell- at the bottom of the Lake of the Traitors and awake for every waking moment from now till the end of time. Only then would Himmler scream. Only then would God and Lucifer would stop thier tears. Only then would the world begin to regrow and heal as Man walked once more upon the Earth's surface.

When people talk to me about current events irl and how bad it is: “this is the worst timeline” or “I’m born in the wrong generation” No tf you’re not. Be glad things are like they are, because they can be much, much worse indeed. TNO is a great example and even then you probably could carry that philosophy further too and say that there might be some other unimaginable horror in a different timeline
Aspirations to improve the world, and to improve humanity, is grand aspiration, that will either see a better greater humanity, a world only dreamt up to that point, or a world in which is barren of all life, and only the winds of the waste populate the earth, as well as the spectres of fallen hopes and dreams to achieve grandness.
When God peered down onto Earth from the heavens, he failed to distinguish it from hell. Rather, he couldn't even compare it to hell, mankind had slipped so far into sin and hate, not even hell was comparable to what it had become. It was far worse from it. In his final act of mercy, the clock rang midnight as one by one, cities were evaporated, thousands turned to dust, and the whole world fell into silence as the nuclear war wiped most nations from the map. With this, god hoped mankind might rebuild once more to wash away the nightmare they had created. Though, he can only pray as to if his judgement would succeed, he believed There Is Hope.

So, I hope you’re happy that you destroyed God’s people, and may you have a worse time then Hitler himself, in the darkest pits of hell. We loved you, you did not.” Himmler was shocked, blinded by his own rage before the Second Coming, he had thought that he could easily win. Jesus, knowing that everyone would die, came down and blessed the earth. Anyone of those sick fascist and Nazi terrors would be destroyed from the face of the earth, and for the people who wanted to live in God’s kingdom, they would be granted this. God now got to love all of his creations up in Heaven, and for those Nazis, they were simply non-existent. God struck down the sick and twisted beings of Burgundy, and brought forth upon us the Second Coming, and hope. Hope for Heaven itself.
I know it might sound wrong but I used this masterpiece to motivate myself to complete my uni coursework. I mean it just evokes this emotion within me which says "loneliness". I don't know the German language, but doesn't "Herr" represent a title of honor that ranks _above_ the standard "mister"? Like, in English, "sir" and "ma'am" refer to anyone of authority, but isn't "Herr" different from those?
