Good old DC, opens a streetcar line that runs about 500 feet. And goes nowhere. Rare video also shows snow. Except for a mild 10 inch snow and then it never really snows here anymore. This winter: zero snow. Same as last year. Although the weather people say we got a few inches of snow, it's the kind you see here: falling, maybe sticking on grass, then melts a few hours later. So, if you like snow, stay away from DC. Same goes for trolleys. If you like them, avoid this one. Most people in the city believe the line was nothing more than a combination boondoggle/real estate gimmick to move out of town white folks from suburban Virginia from parking areas in town and thru the dangerous areas where homeless, black folks and others who scare them are located to the end of the line in the recently built up areas loaded with fellow white people and clubs for them to party in. No other tangible reason for the line has been given.
