Any woman who has dated an abusive or narcissistic man has heard that she’s “not smart enough to do anything right.” It triggers me every SINGLE TIME he says that about Kamala Harris 😢😢😢
This needs to be amplified by the Democrats, and tied to the messaging about government not interfering in women’s healthcare or reproductive rights. There seems to be a clear agenda against women, and you can be sure that this is only the start. I try not to be an alarmist but, l keep picturing The Handmade’s Tale as his blueprint for Project 2029.
Thank you Liz for your example! Policies can be worked out, but losing our Democracy would be a disaster! We can't have a dictator leading our country!

There are probably things I disagree with Liz Cheny on, but I respect her sense of honor and honesty, and willingness to call out Trumps bullshit early on.
I forget that Liz Cheney gave up the power of being the top 3 Republican in the nation. Not a supporter of her policies as she voted with 45 90% of the time, but will extend her respect for what she personally sacrificed for the betterment of the country.

I respect Liz Chaney for her choice in backing Harris and why. What I particularly give her huge credit for is clarifying that writing in a candidate’s name isn’t going to cut it. If you want to save our democratic republic then you must vote for Harris. 🌊🇺🇸💙
@JohnJacobjinglehymer Wow! How easily manipulated people like yourself are. Just out of curiosity! If someone kicked in your front door, clubbed you over the head, scared your family into the closet, stole a bunch of your stuff, took a dump and spread the shit all over your house how would you go about investigating the incident. It seems like you’d watch the video of the back door and ignore the video of the front that showed the breaking and entering. You’d ignore the bump on your head, the damaged door frame, the words of your family, the missing valuables, the shit on the walls, miss Josh Hawley fleeing with his tail between his leg as he scrambles down your hallway, and conclude nothing happened. Is this correct, do you normally fall for the oldest (made you look) trick in the book? Kind of funny, when you think about from that perspective. Why aren’t Trump and Pence pals anymore?
Being a never-Trumper doesn't equate to having liberal policies, remember that both Cheney and Kinzinger voted in lockstep with Trump's agenda up until 1/6.
What scares me, is uneducated voters. Ones that just listen to the BS on the news and don't research for themselves. Question, why would a liberal vote for war?

Unfortunately maga has contributed greatly to making conservative a dirty word! Mainly because of the thugs that have co-opted it and made any principled conservatives, without the means of hired protection, keep quiet about their opposition to maga. I'm voting for a Democrat for the very first time in over 40 years of voting for Republicans for President. I'm also voting a straight Blue ballot for the first time too! We must rid ourselves of Trump and MAGA, then worry about fighting for being in control of Congress once again. Trump and MAGA are more dangerous than 4 more years of a Democrat leader. God help us through this! my Country comes before my party!
Liz Cheney is voting for the Deep state, She never was Of the people for the people and by the people Cheney is Voting to save her share of the Deep state Cash. Trump is for the People Cheney is for the Rich.

I’ve been a Democrat my whole life, but there are very few people I respect as much as Liz Chaney. Her work on the Jan 6 committee took some serious courage and backing Kamala now is deep reflection of principles. I’d be thrilled to know she was in Kamala’s cabinet. I want Kamala to hear both sides; I want her to fix the rift… And these things always go back and forth between the sides. Liz Chaney would probably be in a good position to run for President in 4 years - and I want the conservatives who run to be the ones who reflect the best character traits the party has to offer. And I want them not to pardon Trump, who needs a legit trial for Jan 6. That was fucking unacceptable.
It's too bad there were no GOP candidates for president this year except Trump. No serious Democrats makes sense when the one in office has only served one term, but no challengers to Trump? It's a sad day when the GOP has nothing better to offer.
Exactly. They got to get Donnie in the rear view mirror and allow themselves time to reset, even if it means giving up control of the WH and Congress in the short term.
Actually, Manbun, Trump and his followers are patriotic American loving ppl. YOUR kind just want to ruin what Republicans built. Kamala has allowed historic amounts of criminals and drugs to cross our borders and caused record high inflation, while Walz signed for illegal migrants to get drivers licenses!!!
She is a patriot and I applaud that. But I don't see her fitting into a Harris administration. Her views are like her fathers'. If Kamala does offer such a position, I'll trust her decision but for now I just don't see it.
@s2snider I see her as part of rebuilding the Republican party, although I think there's a huge orange stain on it that won't go away for a long time.
John is one of the few sane interview hosts on CNN, who is on the side of responsible journalism. Agreed Liz ought to be included in the cabinet for her courage!
Given Ms. Cheney's extreme positions on things, I have strong reservations about her being in a Harris administration. I'm very sure, however, that she would never stoop to endorsing Harris to win such a position and might even reject such an offer to avoid that perception. Which contrasts sharply with how Gabbard and RFK have behaved.
@@s2snider I'm sure she didn't do it because she really thought Harris would be a good President. Harris certainly hasn't proved to be a good politician after all.

Why would Trump want talk about policies, he has no policies. Yes he complains about Harris policies but he never actually talks about HIS policies. In a 90 minute rally he may talk less than 10 minutes on policies because he has none to discuss
oh he does have some policies but he is well aware that they would not appeal at all to independent and moderate republicans. Admitting to tax cuts for the 1% richest is not very popular, except for that 1%. I dispize him but after what happened in 2015 and 2016, I am never again underestimating him to know EXACTLY what to say to appeal to his base. I find it funny that people describe him as not being a politician, he is probably one the shrewdest politician of my life time. NEVER understimate his capability to spew so many lies in a matter of minutes. He does that voluntarily to confuse people. I once saw a documentary on Hitler where it said that his speeches were captivating to the point of hypnosis, but that after 30 minutes, people were not able to remember what he had said. Trump operates the same way and it is VERY dangerous.

Get her LOST. Liz Cheney is a betraitor and a daughter of a lier who accused the dictator Saddam Hussain of having a nuclear weapon to invade Iraq. In reality, Saddam Hussain did not have any nuclear or biological weapons. Dick Cheney especially banged the drum of a possible link of Saddam Hussein’s to al-Qaeda and by extension the 9/11 attacks. In fact, Saddam Hussain had NO link at all. Thousands of people lost life because of lies created by the father of the betraitor in order to wage a war.
Add Liz Cheney to the growing list of conservatives that refuse to endorse tRump, a list that includes most of his former cabinet and his former VP. This is vital information that should be spread constantly until November.
Cheney’s is one few Republicans I like. I am very happy to see her join the Harris team. Move on into the future and not get hung up in the past as Trump and his MAGA want. This nation deserves better than Trump. I no longer care if Trump goes to jail. I only wish to protect this nation from Trump.

Cheney is a war monger, ready to send your children to die in a war to make a bigger profit for herself. Maybe you forgot or maybe your not old enough but Dick Cheney never saw a war he didn't love as Chairman of the Halliburton Company who was the exclusive military contractor in Iraq ( they were found to have overcharged the US Govt. Liz Cheney should have our sincere respect. She's a person of character and a profile in courage. And exemplifies the fact that political parties can be opponents and yet not be enemies. Both former Republician House members Cheney and Kinzinger are perfect, exemples of this reality. Both are extremely conservative on certain issues, which would be called traditionally liberal issues, and that hasn't changed, but our country has to come first. What's the use of being conservative or liberal if we live in a society run by extremists not willing to "negotiate one inch" to quote the former president. This is not normal in a democracy. 😐 No one gets everything they want. We need each other. I hope the country will vote Blue 🗳 in a landslide victory for VP Harris and Governor Walz because even democrats would like to see traditional conservatives win back their beloved party. The bill defines the interventions, which include sex-changes, hormone replacement and cosmetic surgeries, as "medically necessary" so long as it "respects the gender identity of the patient, as experienced and defined" by the child. with Minnesota's "gender-affirming health care" laws. Minnesota's bill provided a loophole allowing individuals, including children, from other states to receive transgender treatments and asserted that out-of-state provisions "interfering" with access to these procedures "must not be enforced or applied within the state."
