do I have to reinstall windows like u did in the tutorial? or can I just continue with my current windows installation. and also, do I have to run in winPE mode and not just do the stuff u did to install macOS into the partition on windows directly?

Just partition the drive that you want to install the hackintosh using your existing windoze, you can restore the rdr file directly without booting into the ventoy.

I've try with my existing windows, opencore bootloader get run, but now my windows got bluescreen..and MacOs stuck on apple logo. Did u have any suggestions EFI for my desktop? i5-3470 HD2500

@@djadisatmiko7038 what macos did you tried? Make sure the EFI you got is working before copying it into your ssd

Hey man, it’s only booting to Windows Boot Manager, and even though OpenCore is present in BIOS, WBM refuses to be 2nd boot option and Open Core only opens when i force WBM to be disabled, and after 1 boot it reactivates for some reason

Hey man you can try adding manually the opencore on the bios settings by going through the boot option then selecting the partition of that open core bootloader, and alternatively you can use disk genius, under the the uefi settings and adjust the boot sequence making the open core as the first boot

yeah, just install the macos on a separate disk and set it as your 1st boot

Can it be installed on a second drive instead of the C: drive? if so, does that drive need a recovery partition?

Yes definitely, the most advisable way is to install windows and macos on a separate disk actually.

@@litemint09 Hi, so i followed your tutorial, but I just load into windows every time. I changed the boot sequence in bios to make it so that my secondary drive is the first option, but it still just loads directly into windows every time. Any help greatly appreciated! Edit: I managed to get the opencore menu to show up for a few seconds, then it just boots into windows.

yeah, you can run it as long as you have a dual/multi boot on your machine

try going back to the bios, look on the boot option, select windows or opencore.

I am using a thinkpad x270 core i5-6600. I have successfully installed both Windows 11 and macOS and even completed the dual boot setup (OpenCoreloader). However, when I try to boot Windows 11, I get an acpi bios error and cannot boot. Do you know what the cause is?

However, the Bluetooth kexts you show in your video do not work well. It recognizes the device, but cannot connect, it shows as not supported on the iPhone and unregisters. is the open core of the mod version affecting this?😢 The wifi kexts are working fine.

Tried different versions of R-Drive Image but none is working on the live Windows 10 configuration. The system indicates that that app can't run on the PC. Can you please share the one (R-Drive Image old) you are using with us?

you can go to your bios man, set the boot order to opencore as the 1st boot
