Great vid! I ride stand up skis and my latest hack? How to get my drone, controller and batteries out on the water and film without getting my gear wet. It was as simple as buying a waterproof backpack and wearing it over my life jacket. I can then set up on a clear sandbar, island or shore. I've done it twice and it works great! And I have the video to prove it!
From memory I purchased it at anaconda but I suspect most stores that sell kayaks will have something similar. Just make sure it’s correctly rated for jet ski.
Just wanted to say thanks and give you an update. In the first 4 hours since uploading this video, we have 32 new channel subscribers! Welcome aboard and thanks for your support. Click subscribe and get onboard if you still haven't. It's totally free and dedicated to us Jet-Skiers!
Those seadoo's you showed that sank due to missing drain plugs did not sink due to missing plugs. Modern Seadoos (including those shown) have a check valve that only allows water to exit. I rode 3 hours last week with both plugs out and had no problem.
G’Day Jorge. Hope you’re enjoying your jet ski and thanks for your msg! All going well but just been too busy to make the videos sorry. Ironically I’ve actually been camping, hiking and jet skiing more than ever. I do miss making regular video’s but the editing takes hours. Perhaps I need to find a faster workflow or different style to make the task easier. Any suggestions?
@@JetSkiCamping not yet. I have a bigger channel too. But, yeah. Editing sucks. Most channels hire somebody when the cash flow makes sense, until there, unless we got a family member that likes editing, we are stuck to it.
Danm that ski is massive! Might as well get a smaller boat at that point and take all your family and friends with you! If u have no friends or family then i find a smaller ski lol.
@@costasgeorgiou5015 flushing it has nothing to do with the carbon seal. You need to inspect the carbon seal and replace it when it wears down enough. Some mechanic you are. It's called preventative maintenance. Also involves keeping the boot greased to keep pressure against that carbon seal. And as far as your 9 hour claim maybe you just got unlucky or are just stupid. Or maybe it had more than 9 hours. No way to tell it that's true or not but I call bullshit
@@neal5186 well well I give anything a chance till it burns me. I just have yamaha's now. I have had jet skis for 15 years you ask anyone there quantity in the last few years have gone down the drain. Stop being a sinkdonts fanboy and realize when you see crappy products. Just like Solas in recent years gone to shit.
@@costasgeorgiou5015 you burnt up the carbon seal from running it too long while flushing it on the garden hose as there's no cooling to the carbon seal when the ski is out of the water
Sorry to hear that. Most of us ride sensibly (and draw no attention) but unfortunately there are always going to be some exceptions. Thanks for watching.
