From a Greeks opinion , hades and hades 2 had nothing to do with Greece. Animated characters in a multicolored game mean nothing. Most people can't take seriously an animated game. Having some Greek gods with darker tones of skin wouldn't be odd since mediterranean people's had a lot of skin tones, but we all know that they are doing this just to tick boxes, hence why Hestia and Hephaestus look the way they look in the game. The fact that it is not honest it is annoying. And it is a shame because the charaters do have cool designs on their clothes and themes which shows that the artists did do their research about them and can be creative, and then they put in some mandated things and use those things as the main marketing point.

To be fair, I think Hestia in the game just looks dark because of coal / ashes. It would explain the white spots, as in that those spots are her skin below the layer of ashes on her. Makes more sense to me than a skin condition (on an f-cking god, like wtf)
