Hades was a slow burn for me these past few months. Having a deep love and history of roguelikes, it's hard for me to be really excited for new ones when I have so many still there to scratch the itch. Something clicked though and I got sucked in just like so many others and I've even been playing it on my stream on Twitch trying to get my first clear and clearing some of the game to break up all the Banjo Kazooie speedruns and Among Us games. Highly recommend this game not only for it's phenomenal gameplay, but for it's insanely beautiful art and music.
Adriana and I just celebrated our 5 year anniversary of being together and I felt it was the perfect time to do a song like this together. Many people really enjoyed the short tease of Build That Wall from Bastion and wanted to hear a full cover, but we never got around to it. Hope this suffices! I was very nervous about not only singing so seriously for a cover,, but I've never been a fan of singing high or falcetto, but anything else wouldn't have done this arrangement justice. Adriana coached me through it and we finally came up with something we were both proud of. Hope you enjoy it!

@@TheWalker10 he tries avoiding making covers of a single long song because he has to maintain a weekly upload schedule. And he needs to write tabs for every single one of them. The longest non-medley cover he’s ever done was Tristram Village from Diablo 2 at nearly 8 minutes long. For a song that is super long, djent-y (i don’t know if that’s a word) complex, it’s gonna take more than one week to make. It’s not like I don’t hope, I just think it’s not very likely yet

I mean, I've been lurking on his channel for a few years now, and I remember when we could wait 1-2 months between videos, and I didn't care, cause if he had to take the time, well. @@nathansstuff1547 well, technically Darren does Orpheus' singing voice, as well as Zagreus and Skelly's voices, while Michael Ailshie does Orpheus' speaking voice. Eurydice is the same way, with Francesca Hogan doing her speaking voice, while Ashley Barret does her singing voice.
