Hades compelled me to start an entirely new series, so that's what I did.

Awesome video! As a Greek mythology nerd, this game satisfies on almost every level! As someone who is absolutely, hopelessly horrid at almost every video game, this game presents a clear, difficult, (seemingly insurmountable) challenge, yet there's a clear line of progress that allows you to play a little better every run. Absolutely one of my favorite games. Great video.

Just found the channel, and this sounds like a great series. Surprised you don't already have more subscribers. Keep up the great work! Will def check out other vids. As for other "perfect" games, ones I would consider are... - Outer Wilds (very spoilery, so don't research it if you haven't played. Just buy it and play it ASAP) - Super Smash Bros. Ultimate ("everyone is here" from all past games + new characters, very performant even with chaos for party play, well-balanced for competitive play) - Ori & the Blind Forest / Ori & the Will of the Wisps (both just spectacular artwork, animation, platforming smoothness, and music with no real faults anywhere that I can feel) - Undertale (novel gameplay, strong story with great variability and twists, excellent music) Hades is the only other "perfect" game I would have listed probably.

@@thecosmicdrifter I can confidently say that Outer Wilds is my top favorite gaming "experience" ever. Not necessarily my "favorite" game in terms of what I play the most, but if I had to name a single game that most strongly impacted me, influenced my understanding of what games could be, and/or broadened my mind to the possibilities of game design, interactive narrative, and worldbuilding, I would most definitely say Outer Wilds. It is NOT a title you wanna sleep on. ;-)
