In two weeks I am twelve months post Surgery. I lost a lot of hair, but thankfully I had a lot of hair to begin with. My hair is growing back, but very slowly and it is driving me insane as it is such slow regrowth. 😊

Best of luck on Monday! How exciting!!! I am so dreading my hair loss. My daughter is getting married on a family cruise in May which is probably about the time I'll be losing my hair. My surgery was Jan 19. Def going to get some of that Boldify!

I’m going through telogen effluvium right now. It started two months after my gastric bypass and the hair fall has been absolutely devastating. It’s been 3 months and it’s not showing any signs of slowing down. I wish my bariatric team had spent more time on this aspect so I would have been more prepared.

Thanks for the education about hair loss. I’ve seen a dermatologist and in addition to effects after surgery I’m being treated for a form of alopecia. But I see some progress even though she said it would be slow. Best wishes on your surgery. Maybe hearing your journey will give me the courage to consider the arm lift. For now I’m doing strength training to see how I can affect the appearance. I’m afraid of the pain during recovery. Blessings.

Hi Kaki, Surgi twin here, 11/22/22. I am now experiencing my second round of hair loss! Devastating as my hair has been regrowing. My fear is that I have lapsed on my daily protein intake once I hit the one year mark. So proud you are doing plastics now. I thought I would be doing arms by now but not yet ready psychologically. Hey Kaki, thanks again for another great video. I finally have a surgery date. I should be on the losers bench in 2 weeks and am currently on pre-op diet. Allergy testing didn’t reveal a culprit, so I’m going to be admitted early and monitored pre-op. We’ll have an extra anaesthetist on hand and, I’ll be on IV fluids for a couple of hours beforehand as well and they will slowly introduce all of the drugs per a challenge plan. I’m excited and terrified and equal alternating amounts. Best wishes for your upcoming surgery. Can’t wait to hear how it goes. 😊💖

Dr appointment today with my regular Dr, today no longer have to take blood pressure, and the others 2 will be adjusted to lower dosage
