GETTING BACK TO NORMALITY If I can give some advice to the Biden folks right now? I really do think this will work. He loves to say "folks." So I would lead with this: "Listen folks. Let me tell you something. The American people, you, have been through a lot in the last couple of decades. From 911 and the extended Wars afterwards to the 2008 crash to the pandemic. And along that way, on a personal level, all of you have faced personal challenges as well as those that are normal to your lives. What you deserve and what the American people deserve is competent sane leadership that normalizes your experiences. You don't have to white knuckle your government and worry about some frenetic psychopath changing the course of the economy or the direction of the government on a whim at night. Trump is an agent of chaos. Biden is an agent of normalcy. If you want weird in your life that should be on you. If you want chaos in your life on a personal level, knock yourself the ( _ ) out. But it shouldn't come from your government." I gotta say, as a sales pitch, that works for a lot more people than people believe. There are definitely key issues that people will push a constituency for but there is a huge number of either base and the entire Center that just wants to be in charge of their own chaos.
