You present a video like you're going to tell about retro shooters made from scratch with hl design as main inspiration but in reality you just highlighted 4 blatant mods built on source engine without anything unique and can't even tell anything insightful. There's a difference between a mod and those retro shooters you had in mind and you don't seem to get it. Misleading title, thumbnail and presentation, it should be "4 hl2 mods I played"
I can only assume you didn't watch the video, only one of these games uses the source engine (g-string), and it's 12 hours long, uses original assets, and costs money. All the rest are literally built from the ground up with hl design as inspiration, so I don't really know what you're talking about.

Of course games take time and money to make, but that is the most mediocre lineup of everything hl related
