!! H A P P Y H A L L O W E E N !! I spent the afternoon dumpster diving at apartments and ended up finding some great stuff! Totally pick up painted canvases that are not damaged. Many great pieces of art were painted over something else.

One of my favorite piece of art was done on a huge framed painting with heavy texture using a pallet knife that I bought at the Salvation Army Thrift Store for $2. plus. I painted over it, I didn’t really like how it turned out, so I started wiping the paint off, and suddenly I like what’s happening on the canvas. Right after my sister came out to visit, said when she saw that painting she was thinking about how much it must have cost.......😂

1 'A' frame and 1 wingnut horizontal wood piece put together made a portable easel. That could have been an amazing score!

Jennifer Steffen they look like one my easels, except mine is taller. Those would have been table top easels. Two separate pieces and you just put them together. Ah well!

Schools dump more than you believe. My son works maintenance and his main job is bringing things straight to the dump. Books, office supplies, desks, awnings, benches, computers, all perfectly good.

Hey girl, that plastic bag with the grey weird paper stuff, that said paint brushes. That is graphite paper, you trace your pattern with the tracing paper and then you use the graphite to transfer to your work surface. It’s a few bucks.

I agree with the masses. The wig is. Great on you! And you should go back and get the easels, I know they cost more than twenty$$ and if you picked up and sold ten at $15-$20 that's a nice chunk of change!

Happy Biethday🎂. If you take half cup of white vinegar and a half cup of olive oil, mixed together and rub with a cloth on the wood, leaves a nice finish and covers scratches.

I love all the craft stuff. I like it when I find some. It saves me so much money. Sometimes I get bags of metal soda caps, wine corks and sea shells. I just have to find some nice projects to use them.

I can’t believe people in America just dump their old furniture next to the rubbish bins. In Australia, apartment complexes always have their bins inside with video surveillance. You have to book a ‘hard rubbish’ collection through your council or you can get fined for dumping.

That frame didn't require a "back" it has little metal tabs that hold everything in place. You use the frame part to hang it. If you wanted something over the back, most frames have a piece of cardboard on the back. Just cut to size

Do you know you can undo the seats on those chairs and recover them real easy with some glue and a staple gun it's not hard at all , the seats should be removable from underneath . Then you just cut the material to fit and staple it on

Try your hand at refinishing the furniture you find. That’s always so fun for others to watch. Schools can be a great score ! We passed 1 the other day ..actually several different days and there were shelving , chairs , bulletin boards etc ...great saves today ! 🌟🌟

At 23:40, the pack looks like Grey Graphite paper sheets from Royal&Langnickel. It's used for tracing images, similar to carbon paper.

Went diving on Halloween too, got all the lean cuisines and ice cream bars. Went again today and head the 2020 calendars and some 2020-2021 calendars too. I got a nice chair also

Happy belated birthday hon hope you had a great day, love the finds and always take picture frames as you never know what’s behind the picture and the art work is sometimes painted over another painting ( many lost pieces of old artwork have been found this way) so it doesn’t hurt to take them. Another diver I use to watch she goes to schools & colleges & finds all sorts of school supplies brand new just tossed in the dumpsters. And school furniture I think she is in Oregon. But she dives in all the other types of dumpsters also. Those tools are for making jewelry I use to make beaded jewelry. And the wire & clear thread is for putting beads on it. Some good diving finds. Beautiful dog I love Pilgrim.
