Yea I've seen them all or u think I did. Pretty sure it bv was only 4 last I knew. But pretty good for sequels. Especially considering Disney movies didn't do a great number of sequels and this one had three of them.
I have seen all of them for my family they are a classic to watch and they come on tv channels all the time during october so its hard to avoid it but i love it i love some more than others but whenever i get the chance i think its worth it to watch it every time you think you are going to get bored but you sort of like it even more but then you notice things you did not notice as a kid and its nice to have a refresher
me and my familly binges the halloweentown series every halloween night, every halloween since i was 8 and now i am 20, i have lost count at how many times it's been since i would also watch it alot on my free time lol
I honestly felt a huge sense of relief when Billy said that he had seen Halloweentown when he was a kid... only to be crushed finding out that he hadn't seen all the sequels.

I thought it was awesome how Kimberly J Brown got her onscreen siblings and mother to come to Halloweentown event one October the year Debbie Reynolds died to honor her. It was a rare appearance for the little sister Sophie because the actress quit the acting gig awhile ago.
I still think that the mom was WAY out of line. Her plan was to wait until Marnie grew out of her powers, and then tell her. If she had succeeded, Marnie would have hated her and never talked to her again, probably Sofie too.
It does make me wonder though, would she have told Marnie only after Sofie grew out of her powers? Because if she waited till it was just Marnie, she could have told Sofie herself so she could at least try and keep her magic.
I loved the Halloweentown and Twitches movies, and I would try to watch them every time they came on for years! I loved Girl vs. Monster too, especially after I realized that Katherine McNamara from Shadowhunters was in it.
Twitches is my least favorite DCOM. I was a massive fan of the Twitches book series and Disney literally took the names and the fact they were twins and everything else was wrong. I almost cried watching the movie because I hates it so much 😂😂😂

But also, it never occurred to me how savage he was. He really was okay with killing some kids. RIP to the legendary Debbie Reynolds. Being normal is indeed vastly overrated.
Fun fact: The town where they filmed this movie decorates their streets and town square up like the set every year for Halloween as an homage to this film.

You’re really bringing it back with one of the og Disney Halloween movies. Back when life was simple and the biggest worry was making sure you had the tv turned to the Disney channel exactly at 8pm so you never missed a moment. Great choice Billy ❤️🤟🏽👻
Some of my favorite Disney Channel Movie classics are Stuck in the Suburbs, The Even Stevens Movie, The Proud Family Movie, High School Musical, The Cheetah Girls, and My Date With The President's Daughter (I think that was a Disney Channel Movie).
Debbie Reynold’s is the mother of Carrie Fisher, who played Princess Leia in Star Wars. Carrie has a daughter named Billie Lourd, who is also an actress, and looks almost exactly like Carrie.
Halloweentown makes me think of Sky High for some reason… and Sky High is actually a fantastic DCOM #bingers Also sad that the Halloween movies are almost over. Billy’s comments are so funny 😂

When you think about it Marnie’s mom doesn’t even have a good reason for being all Darren Stevens about magic (a spell gone wrong or monster attack when she was younger). Her kids had a right to explore their history and hiding Marnie’s powers from her all those years was just wrong.

As soon as i read the Harry Potter series, that was it. Ive been a gryffindor most halloweens since. Including this year when my kid gets to be roped into being my owl!

Yes. I did love this as a kid. I’ve always fantasized of living in Halloweentown in either that universe or the other with Jack Skellington, Sally and company. I was honestly never scared of Kalabar when I was a kid. As a matter of fact, I dressed as him for Halloween in I think it was either 2nd, 3rd or 4th grade. Maybe 5th. Still have the mask. So excited you watched this! Please watch the other Halloweentown movies! I love them all! Yes even the 4th one despite what they did to Marnie.

Halloween is one of my favorites! I always order pizza & wings, get our creepy costumes, always take my daughter trick or treating in the neighborhood and I go out to a Halloween party afterwards
Since I first saw this, I always saw my mom as Marnie's mom, my grandmother as Marnie's grandmother, and myself as Marnie One of my favorite costumes was Hermione Granger partly cuz I only needed a Gryffindor robe to complete the look lol. Also when I was Anju Maaka from Chibi Vampire because that was my last costume before I got into cosplay. 7:07 Halloweentown came out in 98...The internet was common in households in 93. 10:53 ACTUALLY Halloween, as it is known now, WAS stolen...technically. It was originally Samhain, a religious festival to celebrate the end of the summer harvest and to ward off negative spirits for the coming harsher seasons. When Christians invaded Ireland they took that, said because its not a Christian celebration they cant do it anymore, so they adapted. Then when the Irish immigrants came to America (mostly during The Great/ Potato Famine) they adapted again into what is now Halloween. Example: in Ireland Jack O' Lanterns were carved from turnips not pumpkins. Also, PLEASE do Halloweentown 2 this year!!!!!
man i remember hearing the news when carrie fisher died and debbie reynolds after. i was at my aunts house. i was so devastated even though i was pretty young. they don’t lie when they say the pain of your own child dying is the worst. i highly recommend reacting to star wars which carrie fisher stars in #bingers

I just realized, this is kind of like a "kid friendly" story of the Great Famine in Ireland. Kalabar being British Parliment, Halloweentown being Ireland, "our world" being America. Aggie being the older generation asking the family that already left for help, the "People from your world copies us", the citizens being stubborn to notice anything amiss and reluctant to seek help, etc. Anyone else notice this??? 🤔
My favorite costume my mother made me was my Balrog costume. Halloween is my favorite time of year. My mom made it very special by making all of my costumes. She's a seamstress, and heavy into theater. She figured it would be nice to do that for me since I'm a type 1 diabetic. I couldn't eat the candy, but I could look forward to absolutely wonderful costumes.
I'm glad Billy is watching this after watching Hereditary. He needs to end the month on a good note. I did not celebrate Halloween as a kid, but I loved Disney Channel. I have good memories of watching the Halloween Town series.
As a child we didn't have Disney Channel and I could never see it. Still, first time I watched it I absolutely loved it. I think that seeing its November and almost Christmas you should do The Greatest Showman #bingers It's not exactly a Christmas movie, but it sort of touches the Christmas spirit for learning to look on the inside and not the outside (something that should go for everyone every day)

I just watched all 4 Halloweentown movies last week. I hadn't seen the first one since I was 12. And that was in 2004. I was a girl from the fifties when I was 6. My grandmother made my sister and I both poodle skirts.

DCOMs truly aren't the same today like they were back in the day when this came on. You only need to watch the first 3. The 4th one was so wrong for what Disney did. I watch the first 3 every year normally during the days leading up to Halloween. And if you haven't seen all of the 2nd one, you need to watch it.
Being a witch for halloween was the most cost effective as a child. Lol I wore my school uniform which was a white shirt and black skirt, bought a witch hat and got my broom 🧹 and done 😂
