Halo 1 weapons slap better than their successors. AR had 60 round mag, Halo 3 and reach only had 32. H1 shotguns are literal sniper rifles, and Magnum peak peashooter. Only rocket launcher H1 weak, because subsequent iterations have lock-on (H2 rocket best for anti-vehicle).

Yeah, I can see why the Halo CE Spartans basically dominated these rounds, Halo 2 really nerfed the health for Spartans. But the best part was 2:40 when that one CE Spartan 1v3ed the Halo 2 Spartans.
