The AI in CE was just perfect. It wasn't unfair the way it was in Reach.

@@dr._breens_beard yeah I know. And Bungie got into this annoying habit of making the chief withstand very little damage on Legendary from H2 onwards. I mean grunts and marines take more damage than us on legendary. CE was a fair challenge and dying on legendary was mostly due to player error rather than the sandbox and AI being unfair. From H2 onwards every enemy fires so fast it's like they're moving plasma turrets

It's basically an elite ultra, not sure why you are surprised. . . They even show you during the opening of Halo 2 that these are commanders of the fleet.

He did get pretty lucky though lets be honest.

That’s because all melee attacks to the back are instant kills on everything except Flood and Hunters.

He even makes fun of him saying Ha ha. The gold elite's mistake was jumping so hard that he fell into a position where the blue elite only waited for him and gave him a forceful blow to kill him.

@@nickolaswild it's my guess. It might have been something added into the programming but left unused.

It’s likely doable in Co-op since the other player keeps the fight going without stopping.

They actually put effort into making some parts eerie/disturbing/horrifying especially the swamp level. New Halo and remastered are both way too sanitized, the OG library is the shit

Bro all ce elites are infinitely more intimidating and difficult to fight than every other elite counterpart. Even Reach elites don't stand up to the ce ones.
