HALO INFINITE NEEDS THIS TO SUCCEED  

Assumptions: They want gal Spartans with bigger dump trucks. Reality: In lore, Spartan 177 "Master Chief" aka "John" was first put on the map during the battle of Horstes Hill more commonly known as Battle for Bridge Crossing due to its vital Bridge connecting the two largest hills in the region giving good sight lines and defensive capabilities. The battle was fierce as the Covenant Elites had captured the smaller hill and had pushed up entirely on the bridge. Luckily, one of the last few Pelicans to land on the Higher base carried a group of Spartans including 117. Further aid was cut off as Covenant Anti-air support had established themselves too close. The Spartans being rather new to combat with the Covenant made good progress but fell to the battle hardened Elites of the Covenant. All hope seemed loss until Master Chief used his, canonical, HUGE MASSIVE DUMP TRUCK ASS TO FLATTEN THE COVIE BASTARDS. So in order to pay homage to the lore, we need to ensure our asses in game can represent the absolute CAKES on the average Spartan.

The loss of the spartans' dump truck ass is truly a horrific tragedy.

Here's a funny fact for you. In a port of the armor core MkV (B) for Fallout 4, it was discovered that all body types conform to the male body. You literally cannot be a female in Halo Infinite. It took another modder to separate and create a female body type from scratch using the bodyslide system; and do you know what? They did it! One person did what a AAA company could not. That is what pisses me off about 343, they are lazy and uncaring about Halo as an IP. They either need to pull their fingers out of their arse or leave.

They don’t need to do any thing crazy. Just create the male and female Spartans like the past two installments and let them each have there own body type options (similar to what it is currently) Trying to do taller or shorter is just silly and would just create more issues.

If you have a character who is meant to be physically strong (no matter the gender) and they don’t have powerful glutes then you don’t understand human anatomy and how forces are generated through the body. I know it’s only a story but give us the dump trucks back!

In the weirdest way it feels like they took away a core element in the franchise. The idea that men and woman struggled together in the Howling Dark is a detail that's just as equal to the other elements that make the game feel alive

Jokes about Reach’s female spartan models aside, I adored Reach so much as a kid because, for the first time in a video game franchise I loved, I felt represented. I no longer felt like I was an outcast for being a young girl who liked FPS video games. And the more I played Reach, the more proud I was to be a nerd who loved Halo. Maybe it’s a bit overdramatic of me to say, but I feel like all this “we can’t have female body types, everyone has to look the same!” is just going backwards.

Everyone just wants the SFM video Spartans as a preset and I'm totally here for it 😤

Imagine being a marine fighting the Banished, but you get distracted after a Spartan IV with an absolute Pixar dumpy sprints right past you and impales a brute with her knife. Then you get hit by a red plasma bolt from some brute’s plasma rifle because you weren’t paying attention.

Right so sauce on the spartan booty. And i can see a reason for not allowing height as an option, however the body type one should have more options.

I just want playable Elites

Honestly, as much as I may joke about Spartan ass, the main reason I personally hope proper body type selection gets implemented is so that my Spartan can have a track runner build, and so that others who want to play as a Spartan who’s built like Jorge or whatever body type can do that.

They couldve just copied halo reach armor and given you personal ranks to unlock shit and made the game 60$ but no they wanted to be greedy fucks and lock everything cool behind pay walls

I know the want for a more feminine body type is usually referred to in a more joking way,but honestly having 5 body types would be much better than the three we currently have; which are basically just average,slightly masculine,and slightly feminine. Imagine how much more unique you could make your spartan if you had both a much more feminine type that changed the character model a bit more, as well as the same kind of thing in the opposite direction with a much more masculine body type.

Almost everybody wants to play as either a big jacked spartan, a giant legendary elite, or a big booty waifu spartan. The customization in halo infinite is just "regular man," smaller regular man" and "thin man", the only female customization is your voice.

The de-cakafying of Spartan soldiers has got to be the most atrocious move by 343

It was a small gripe for me too when getting kats armor and then not being able to make her the same skinny frame that she was in halo reach. It was small which is why I originally didn't complain too much but since people are talking about the body type yes I need a smaller female frame for kat's armor

I always assumed the bodytype stuff was so minimal was because the undersuit isn't form fitting, so thin or thick, the padding doesn't change unless it's being pushed on

I feel like reach had the most due to the fact that it had such a diverse range of styles. From the head to toe you could change your little details. Now in infinite it’s no where near as customizable as reach. 5 had a good bit except weapon skins, neither 4. My point is that the little things matter:)

I love how people argue that more feminine Spartans aren't as realistic, but it's literally been in Reach before. Not to mention the neon ears and rainbow buttplugs you can glue to your Spartans armor

Normally spartans would experience body dimorphism, where the shapes of their bodies would not change much based on the sex of the individual, including how the armor sits. However it is worth noting that these are Spartan 4's, one's that signed up voluntarily at a later age, where puberty already took affect, so in a way, yes it makes sense lore wise to give them a dumpy.

A taller shorter character? No, that would change gameplay and means harder to hit.

One complaint I and many others have voices our opinions on as well is the fact some armor chest plates don't change colours when you apply armor coatings to your main suit. A good example of one such armor this happens with is the ODST chest plate as it remains a grey colour regardless of what colour you choose and there are little to no armor coatings that affect this when in previous games this armor piece would always change colours to match what you selected for it.

It would be fantastic if we had elites to play as again. I love playing as the elites.

Like to point out that Halo's original Bungie concept was anime inspired which led them to bless us with Halo Reach's dump truck spartan legion. And why it was taken away when 343 stepped in.
