In this video I'll will show you how to change the language in Halo Master Chief Collection. For some reason when you start the game for the first time, the language setting is in Korean.

If it didn't work for you, my tip is to go to the settings on your Xbox console. Change the language to English. (I did that from Norwegian). Then when you boot MCC you can DL a language pack for English. Then i restarted MCC twice and the language swapped.

For some reason, my mcc won't enable other languages, it asks me to install, and after doing so i still can't change it to the desired language.

Uninstalled and installed it again with xbox language on English and it worked.

To me all the language options were in Korean too, so i went to left most language. It happened to be danish, then i went again to the settings and found english.

Also the language of countries are Korean so you have to use google translate with lens to switch to your country

What worked for me was just clicking one and download the language pack, first by mistake I took the Spanish one and then it was just one click away from english. maybe this works for you.

Ive had almost the same problem. when i changed the last setting, my console still didnt show another language right away because i didnt confirm it. Finally i Just changed it to the first possibility and saved and after that my game installed an update and after that it changed to German.. but at least now i could change it to english and now its downloading another update. I guess that this will finally fix it...

Why the f is this even a problem to begin with? Had the same problem with infinite when it came out and the game decided I should play it in german. Never had these problems with any games ever, only halo games the last few years
