I don't prefer this over the studio version as they seem to have very different feelings to them, almost as if they're different songs. This one seems to be a lot more painful for her to sing. Her vocals in this are so much better than her previous live performances though, and I keep coming back to this.

Saw her on her badlands tour and she was 3 hours away from my town. People I met drove from 5-6 hours away just to see her. I even went in my car when it broke down earlier in the week and literally pushed it just to see her. Let me tell you, every penny and hour spent that day was WORTH it. When she sang colors live the entire crowd echoed and so did her voice and it had me in tears. This girl is a goddess.

I remember watching an anime called 5 centimeters per second and from then on, she'd always stay in her room and listen to this song. At first I couldn't understand. But then I realized what that anime and this song meant. I felt like shit. She still loves her ex. LDR broke them. When I had the courage, when she was singing this again, I asked her if he still loves him. I was right. She said yes. What could I do? I accepted the truth. And I let her go.
