This is an oddly special figure for me, it just happens to be the the first gift I received from my son for Christmas. For that reason this figure is always gonna have a special place in the collection.

Miami Vice Sideswipe is a True Lad. I loved everything about this bot/mold and the color scheme is what 1989-1993 pop-culture was for me. Hyper-Color shirts, crazy color mixes, Parker Lewis Can't Lose, Kenan Ivory Wayons shirts when he'd introduce "In Living Color" every week, and you are correct. It also doesn't hurt that Sideswipe is my top Autobot and this design is a certified banger. Also, congrats on the little guy and gift! I've enjoyed sharing my love of Transformers with my kids, and it's a great hobby to share.

Siege Sideswipe is just a quintessential Transformer. Great looking car mode, great looking robot mode, and an elegant and intuitive transformation. Not flashy, just incredibly good at everything it does. It will definitely go down as an all-timer. I even bought this toy despite not liking the deco, simply because the mould is so good I can't help myself whenever a new version comes out!

So sweet your son got you that, raising the boy right I see lol. Honestly the toxictron line had some sweet decos. Missed out on that sideswipe but I am loving the G2 Grimlock that we got from it. Also little Easter egg with these guys, you get a UV light on them some of the plastic glows as well as the packaging.

He’s good boy, it was defs he’s mum who really hooked me up hahaha. But still it’ll always be the first boy from the boy. I loved the line. I got the seeker and toxitron himself.

There will be another in wave 5. This mold officially defeated seekers from Siege and Earthrise. Still I'm so hyped for Rampage/Wheeljack.

Was going to skip this version os Sideswipe but that sunsets decal won me over but i do wish they painted the face silver to break up the mono blue a bit .

@@HamManReviews the Toxictron collection was alright for a 90s theme but lacks the presence that the Velocitron line had but now we have the star seekers coming out for the next Walmart exclusive and I can't to see hiw the pirate them goes .
