Top Gear and Grand Tour stars celebrating too early Send your ideas: docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FA... Episodes: police car 11.1 15.2 7.5 19.4 Vietnam Patagonia 22.1 middle east sandbag 19.7 16.2 gt2.1 18.6 4.3 gt1.1 gt3.11
A classic example of Clarkson having a good idea, but executing it terribly. If he'd attached the log to a low point so it couldn't hit the window, it would have worked well for a lot longer. Classic Clarkson 🤣
@@trentknight3849 In case you're serious, that bet from the last series or two of CHM Top Gear was off for a couple reasons: First, the specific conditions for the test lap in TGT episode 1.01 weren't those named in the "Jennifer" bet. Moreover, TGT had to be very careful and tiptoe around the BBC's intellectual property. For example, The News became Conversation Street, The Stig was replaced with Mike Skinner and Abbie Eaton, who had to talk and show their faces, all the lap times are shown digitally, and Top Gear's SIARPC segment was replaced with Celebrity Brain Crash and Celebrity Face Off (which had two celebs/episode competing against each other instead of just one competing for the best time overall).
@@trentknight3849 that was during Top Gear days and that was only if it was faster around the Top Gear Test Track. But after they left, anything related to TG had to be abandonded so he made the new bet involving his house.
I like how most of this happened to Jeremy, and there's even more scenes like the drag race in the USA, and the cheap German cars challenge when James won in the end when they counted the score.
The clip of Jeremy almost speechless at the Rimac destroying his Lambo is technically not the clip that is celebrating too early, it should be Hammond talking about how he's so ready for the future (electric super cars) then going off that corner and the Rimac in flames lol
6:02 This was the start of the popularity increase of TG. The "Less than £100' challenge was the first to capture the imagination of the viewing audience.
@@sukhdevr3489 Unlikely, as per the challenge demonstrated. Jeremy's Volvo is such in a bad state that it loses all of the challenges. So the owner just set a low price just to transfer the ownership of a car that is barely useable.
@@sukhdevr3489 The car had been sold to a dealership with the expectation that it would be scrapped. However, the change in regulations that required materials from scrapped cars to be recycled meant that the cost of scrapping was more than the value of the materials, so the dealer would lose money. Selling it for £1 means the dealer saved the cost of scrapping it
The absolute best part of this is the log going through Jeremy’s window and Hammond and Mays reactions and seeing it and figuring out what happened 😂😂😂😂
0:59 My Favourite Reaction! 😃 Richard: ‘That’s a shadow!’ (laughs from realisation) James: ‘What’s that reflection in the window of a ghostly figure!?’ (Richard giggles in disbelief) James: ‘Surely Not!’ Richard: (laughs in pity) ‘That’s horrible!’ James: ‘YOU UNBEARABLE MAN! I CAN’T STAND IT!’ ROFL! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
