I got a reckless driving ticket in Utah with my mustang doing that and thats exactly what I told the judge. Short story I had to take 2 driving classes to get that off my record
e Laryngitis Ballistics french police are very corrupt I was driving through there once to go to the french Grand Prix and they pulled me over to try and get all the money I had on me
WesLexner we don’t really care about our past tbh, we’re not day dreaming about out past glories unlike some countries i know of. They are just being professional and cautious since terrorism and smuggling is really common on that spesific border
@@openthinker6562 No? if you read that article , i think you ate the onion they are given by oil companies to stop richer thieves/mafia in buggatis and what not
@@doggoonus1414 I suppose, but I would genuinely be surprised if there wasn't at least one super car in the police that was confiscated. There are scrap yards in the Middle East where sports cars literally sit and gather dust because their owners abandoned them, and they are just left with no owner. I'm sure the police would be more than happy to repurpose a Ferrari or Lambo that was abandoned by someone who's never coming back to get it.
@@openthinker6562 if cars like that were confiscated then the owners should be rich and able to buy it back or something. Also u are mostly wrong, ive been to Saudi and the only yards that have cars are ones that are broken or crashed, the ones that look clean are just 2nd hand cars up for sale, theres a whole city made for selling cars where people knock on your car window and ask how much or something like that. honestly just dont make assumptions and ur good
@@doggoonus1414 Yeah, I suppose I am making assumptions. I saw a news article showing abandoned sports cars in Qatar and Dubai, and I assumed it was more common than the article implied. I've actually seen these police cars in Dubai myself, I saw the Lambo one when my family and I went there. It was pretty surreal, to be honest. And the officer was parked on the side of the road and was looking really cool. I think he was posing for some drivers taking photographs as well.
@@only-jr A.) I guarantee you he knows what a clutch is. He may not know how to use one. But he, at a minimum, has a vague idea of its existence. B.) Jeremy was legitimately lying. He and Hammond were racing at lights in that town.
The funny thing is.....the MOST genuine of all those is the French police one because Clarkson and Hammond genuinely DID get bans in france for speeding
3:16 “..and a cow was there. I just had no where to go cause of this... Did I tell you there was a school bu.. well, it was a bus full of children... handicapped children. I... uh.. mgh.. I saw some ginger ones, so i just.. I thought I can’t, so I have to miss that so I’ll put it in the ditch, rather than into.. into the.. into the children.”
I feel the same. I don't think I'll look forward to or love any show as much as prime Top Gear. It had everything. I'll still be watching the shows 30 years from now
3:50 Fun fact, they're not police. They're tourist officers. Basically, the police of tourists lol. They also ensure tour groups are being led by an Italian tour leader, not the one your tour provides. So it was quite fun, being led by our tour leader, and having to disperse very quickly as they walked past. They knew what was up, but had no evidence.
They are police, they're just local police. Italy has different levels of police. The most commonly seen are the Polizia di Stato who are seen multiple times in this video, but in Italy towns can have their own local police too, usually known as Polizia Municipale or Polizia Locale. They enforce local town laws and things like that, which is why they often enforce laws related to tourism regulation.
I’ve only watched the first series of TGT but it was scripted af. The whole segment where they sieged a plane was long, annoying and unfunny to me. The ‘celebrity’ bit was unnecessary. The American was annoying. Parts of the later episodes of TG were obviously scripted, but at least the humour was better.
Yeah the Top Gear that is on now is just boring in my opinion... After Jeremy, James & Richard left it just wasn't entertaining anymore and while the Grand Tour is better than the Top Gear that's on now it just isn't as good as the old Top Gear was...

0:44 James’ reaction to the camera holding a map with 2 points. “Right now, Clarkson is HERE at the side of the road talking to a Gendarme. In a little while he’ll be HERE in a place called Le Bastille.”
I had the rozzers driving behind me recently it always get's me nervous and channeling my inner James May with "Oh crikey it's the rozzers" or "there's the rozzers" :D
@@jimmyreece5781 There are certain inalienable rights that all people have a birth. That is guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution, under authority of God and the U.S. Government.
I think it’s more the fact that they usually drive fancy cars. Not because the cars are fancy but because a certain type of people give others a bad name. Police are watchful.
Never miss a chance to take pot shots at the US huh. Some of you Europeans and people from the commonwealth in general are super insecure whenever the USA comes into conversation. It’s ok let go of the insecurity Europe had it chance to rule the world times change 💀💀
@@bullo247 And that's why you have corruption. No police station is going to be squeaky clean, but the ones who can shut off a camera because of law? They'll have so much more.
