Reminds me of the one time I decided to play through Dark Souls 2 without mods, I was surprisingly good at it somehow and was doing it flawlessly and felt extremely good about myself. Until I realise the mod that makes it so attacks can never hit me was turned on, and shamefully went back to being shat on.

@@leeroyjenkins0 i was not entirely aware, however I am almost positive that nowadays COD has dedicated servers. Splatoon 3, which came out in September of this year, lacks servers and still uses p2p. This means that depending on who you ask a person can expect about 1/20 to the most extreme being 1/2 games having some form of connection error by one or more players. Depending on this timing this may completely end the match for everyone or completely garuntee your loss. Though at the very least it doesn’t try to figure out who has the best connection on the fly anymore. If you already knew this and was just adding I apologize.

It's relatively common for indies to AAs to use this, as it saves money on servers & also doesn’t have to change their monetization to keep up with server costs. But for AAAs like Splatoon, it is incredibly shameful to not have servers.

This happened 2 months ago in Ukraine, but it was a pensioner, not a soldier.

In fact, if you notice, it was not a damag buff, but a damage cap remover. That is the true, unadulterated power of the Lord's caliber with all artificial limits removed. Edit: correcting vtt nonsense.
