before noodle pulling the right formula for the strechy dough must be tought. NObody online teaches it properly ibuavr gained 10pounds eating all the noodles i made from the recipe i gotten all over the net and still im becoming an expert at knife cutting just like SOBA because allbthe doughninmade following all the recipe are all not stretchy enough to be pulled! what is the big secret why nobody would really share the correct recipe!

Of that was your first try you did so well. The master makes it look so easy and even though I've never tried to make them I know that it takes a lot of practice to master the technique.
Thank you for the video, but the letterbox makes it double-squished! It seems to be a 4:3 video that's been squished into a 16x9 letterbox twice. Is there any chance you could upload a corrected video?
@lycheesack All you need to do to make dough elastic is to add NATRON [chem] to the water for the dought. Alcalescent water makes the wheat flour dough double as elastic as when using neutral or ascecent water. Try to add 1% backing soda of the weight of flour and water combined. I dont know how much natron will be needed. just experiment with it :)

Minh P Tran I remember you succeeded once right? Do you still remember on 2014 Chinese New Year eve when I visited your home , you showed hand pulled noodles in front of us ? You forget ??
