Always a pleasure. Yours is one of my most rewarding subscriptions. Turned out wonderfully. Oh, and for small cracks like the one you have here I use sodium silicate and paperclay slip. Works like a charm.

I thought they would be insanely fragile, but for the purpose you gave them it looks like they will be able to handle it very well, wont' they? It was a VERY interesting build, thanks for sharing!

Make the section of how it works a bit longer. I couldn't tell what was happening until it was done. This is amazing. I love how your mind engulfs the whole world of building. Today I met a blacksmith working at hardware, and talked to him about fitting me a simple tool for clay that I'm too cheap to buy. Now you have me thinking I should just make one of clay! Hmmm! Thanks

Amazing stuff as always. Just one thing I would’ve done differently, when you made the hook that goes through the top hole on the pulley arms, you could’ve made that in one piece with the thick stop thingy, and then thread it through the hole and then curve it and all of that instead of having to add the stop thingy afterwards. But I’m nitpicking of course hehe. Keep making things, I enjoy your videos and your creative mind. Thanks!

What wheel do you have?

Just curious - but does the rope cause the pulley wheel to actually fully rotate freely? Or does it use the glazed pulley surface as a fixed bearing once it gets to a bump or rough area in the pulley and the pulley wheel sticks?
