Love the idea but just think that for real world applications you can't match the speed and accuracy of using a desk. Yes, add all this functionality as well, but also make it controllable via a digital control surface.
Can I use this to record live shows? I would use a splitter snake, send 16 or 32 tracks from the snake to this interface, then out of the USB to my iPad. Set the levels so they don’t clip, hit record (3 hour show) and then come back and mix/edit the songs. Is that possible? What is the main difference between this and the presonus studiolive 16r?
The PreSonus StudioLive RM16AI is now discontinued and no longer available but it offered a Firewire 800 interface. The PreSonus StudioLive 16R offers a 6-band parametric EQ. Both will work for live recording and stage work. The new StudioLive 16R, 24R, and 32R rack mixers can only be used with StudioLive Series III consoles. They are not compatible with AI mixers. If you have an AI mixer, you can use either the RML16AI or RML32AI as an AVB network stage box Use it with a PreSonus Series III mixer connected via Cat 5e/6 cabling. >Mark

Tengo un problema con mi mixer... Aveces cuando enciendo la consola.. No hay salidas por mono ni stereo.. Pero normal marca la entrada.. no se si les paso pero ya es frecuente el mio... Y lo que hago es cargar una escena y recien ahi... Alguna solución?
Gracias por su consulta. La verdad es que no nos he posible identificar el problema con su mesclador. Este es un mezclador digital que cuenta con múltiples configuraciones, necesita ponerse en contacto con el fabricante directamente para obtener soporte operativo.
What is the difference between the AI version and the 32R version? I actually saw the AI and liked the way everything was on one side, the other version has both sides to plug in and doesn't look too friendly.
