Keep in mind this came out 89,early 90's when ppl would walk around with stereos beat boxing on their shoulders. So a big block dangling from your neck doesn't seem to bizarre for the time.

Ok I search it up on 5 websites so far they are sold as a full set, unless you want to spend $150+ You best option is to check EBay and OfferUp daily because new deals is always coming don’t be discouraged if you can’t find it now.
Well you see the original game boy did not have a back light, meaning it could not be played in the dark but with the bulky attachment you can at least do that and it added a zoom in feature then magnifying glass and better speakers.
