Manfred Rhumer proves that he still has it when he takes a different line to everyone else to take the lead in Task 2 of the Hang Gliding Worlds at Friuli Venezia Giulia, in the NE of Italy.
Stefano Gurgone the commentator is even taken by surprise when Manfred just appears out of nowhwere!
The chase is on and Primoz Gricar, Peter Neuenschwander, Christian Ciech and Alessandro Ploner try to catch him and beat him to the goal line.
