love the video, but there is no accurate way to convert cc to hp, by googling it. cc is a measure of displacement, and not a measurement of power output in any way at all.
Yeah you obv do like Amazon cause you went the absolute cheapest you could with this outfit as you could. From the inflatable boat to the cheapest motor you can purchase on Amazon. Not my cup of tea
Oh and I get that you installed all that insulation n stuff to quiet it down but there's a reason these motors cost like 200$. Bc they're cheap as hell man
Just bought this motor for 200 bucks .if it has its corks here and there so be it the cheapest 3 hp branded motor is a suzuki at 750 bucks .so this motor is well worth the money . First thing you do is chuck that crappy sparkplug and put in a ngk .
Desperately trying to buy this at Amazon but there saying that can’t be shipped to my address at 95829 Sacramento California so what should I do then? Thanks
i think the cluch and carb are the biggest reason this thing gets bad reviews the slipper clutch means you dont get good transfer of power to the prop it gets worse with time, wear and resistance and also the air filter system on the carb is trash and very restrictive, i think this thing with good carb and direct drive would be better altough more pricy
I really like your reviews on this engine. I ran across them while researching this motor. I look forward to more of them as you get more time on the motor.
cc is just the engine size you could theoretically obtain just about any HP with any given cc. and 2 and 4 stroke engines with vary greatly as well. BTW good videos I may add. Very thorough. I was going to purchase one of those but instead decided to go with a 55 lb thrust electric trolling motor on mine.
I agree with the overall quality of the Intex. I don’t go far in it and extra cautious. It’s very inexpensive, but also cheap! I’ll stick with it for another season, then check out your advice.
I like your video review. If you want to measure your speed and your in a current, you can just measure speed going one direction, and then turn around and measure again. You relative to the water speed is in between.
