The sad thing about these story games is you can only really experience it once. Sure, there's different endings but nothing beats the first time ever going through and reaching an ending through your honest choices. Wish I could forget it all just to play again. These masterpieces are just one time experiences
I remember when I played this game for the first time, it was with my sister and we tried our best to keep everyone alive, but we ended up killing a lot of characters off because we couldn't decide on what dialogue option to choose.
@@captainszasz5836 Not if you’re choosing these options for Connor. He stays a robot. Also if you are choosing the arc where he becomes more human then his angry statement that he isn’t angry is still ironic and funny.
@@GlyphAbiff Tbh it is quite annoying how if you constantly die or pick robot options Hank still considers you human, like I gave him no reason to think that I am human and yet he is still shocked when I killed another robot to get some info
Have you tried Snoot Game ? It's look like a furry degenerate stuff but surprisingly i never seen any game talk about loneliness hell and childhood ending so accurately.

I don't usually like the "BUT THATS THE POINT" argument because it's usually pretty lame and boring anyway, but the whole point of this scene is that Hank doesn't want to view Connor as simply just a machine and nothing more, he wants to see something in Connor. So when he asks him "What happens if I pull this trigger?" And Connor simply says "Nothing." It's him telling Hank that killing him accomplishes absolutely nothing.
I always just see him at random times in movies and tv. I have never started a movie knowing he would be in it, and he just shows up. Usually he dies though.

This gotta be the best story game ever wth. The fact that any and every single character can die at any point adds a lot to it. Hell even the main character, that's just so freaking nice.

Fun fact : there was supposed to be an ending where instead of suiciding, Connor had a legendary speech in front of the androids in the ending where the androids win or the humans decide to leave them in peace. The ending has been cut but you can find it on RU-vid by searching "Detroit Become Human Connor deleted speech".
The way Connor says ''nothing'' is like a realization to him. You can understand from his voice and face. It's like the game tell you that you should lead Connor in more human ways next times
I love how the nothing response is said in two different ways depending on how the conversation was going. If Connor was questioning his own humanity, it would be more existential and prove he is a deviant and that he values his own life; Versus how he uses it coldly in reference to the overall objective.
One of the greatest story games I’ve played and honestly wish I could play it again without knowing anything about for the first time. Definitely gonna replay it now though.
Let's be honest the best endings are Kara:escaping to Canada with Luther and Alice Marcus:being peaceful and gaining equal rights for androids Connor:becoming deviant, never getting killed, always put Hank and others before your mission and at the cyber life tower, save Hank and convert the androids, which will give you bromance between Connor and Hank
They wrote Connor like a masterpiece. While others become deviants quite early in the story and have a clear goal, we see Connor brushing off his doubts throughout the whole story and being confused without showing anyone. His character growth is the most genuine of all in my opinion, and this is often exactly how people grow as well, not all of a sudden, in a way Connor felt like he had the most realistic humanly growth of all. Truly a masterpiece.

Well technically he did but im not sure its prob the part where connor killed the android girl and hank was totally sure connor has no feelings but if he didnt shot then hank would say he has empathy and empathy is a human felling
I'm kinda sad I didn't get to experience it for the first time myself, I watched let's play before having the chance to play it. I also was too young to be able to play this masterpiece when it came out 😭😔
“There would be nothing.” Hank shooting Connor after this speaks about the character imo, especially since we learn he’s got suicidal tendencies. He doesn’t want to hear about “nothing after death.” He just wants to see his kid.
I love Detroit become human so much at first it was just a good game but now that I play it over and over again I realize it's so much more that it's an amazing piece of art where you choose how the final piece comes out hell (spoilers since there a billion endings) I didn't even know Hank could die at one point
