A Deer hunt I filmed with Hank Williams Jr. in the early 2000s. The Hunt aired on Knight and Hale's Ultimate Hunting. Disclaimer. Hank does not have any association with my RU-vid site. I posted the hunts I had with him.
when you are born to an affluent person , which is what his mother was , and you have a big ole trust fund you can buy all the ground you want - I'm from the country - I was born in Ohio County , Kentucky - you can't buy that shit -
Hank if you see this it is good to see a smile for yourself. What a feeling to harvest on your own and in the peaceful outdoors. I think this is the only time Hank gets to sit with his thoughts and totally immerse himself in something he truly has joy but then again I also feel the same when hunting. Good buck!
Hank Williams Jr. I am so thankful to see you enjoying life because I love your father’s music and I loved your music even more! Thank you so much for two lifetimes of beautiful, wonderful, fantastic, great country music! I pray that God will bless you far more than you could ever ask for!
So good to see Hank take time out to have some fun I just love this man he get my heart on all his songs and the way he sings he nive time off for fun 👋😊
That’s awesome Hank- I live in Northern Alberta Canada- when I’m on my trapline in my cabin with my rowdy friends after happy hour(s) , I sing . “. I can skin a buck- run a TRAPLINE- and a country boy can survive” heee! . I’ve always been a huge fan of yours (seen your concert in Edmonton Ab with the Kentucky headhunters years ago😀) Great buck and thanks for years of Real Country music SIR.. 😎
Just happened to be watching Bocephus drop an old big buck during this year's hunting season in South Alabama. This is an extraordinary hunt for an extraordinary man. Way2go Bocephus
Fine deer Great respect for the outdoors Doesn’t get any better No matter how much money you spend Congrats Hank A country boy can SURVIVE That one song directed my life more than anything or anyone else For decades Thanks again for it
Heck yeah that is a giant Hank!!! One of the greatest if not the greatest country singer of all time kills his biggest buck of all time!!! Such a great video!!! Awesome hunt..Awesome buck Hank Jr!!!
I agree he is the greatest but I didn’t wanna hear all the BS from the trolls on here saying he’s not which would make me mad as hell because he is THE GOAT
It's awesome to see one of the richest men who could buy an bigger deer be so excited and happy with this stud of a buck. Like an kid in a candy store....congrats ole hank...
No matter who you are, taking a fine buck will always be a challenge and rewarding and puts every outdoorsman on the same level! Congratulations Hank! That smile and excitement says it all!
Most of you people who are dropping the comment don't know this video was filmed 20 years ago. Knight & Hale game calls. Harold Knight and David Hale. But still a great hunt
I remember watching this when I first started hunting back in the day. I believe it was on Knight and Hale VHS tapes lol. Man..that brings back some memories..thanks for sharing..
By the book buck hunt...good job Hank..and thanks for all your great music.was able to see you in concert long ago..keep hunting and doing what you love.
I've been after the same doe 2 seasons(in the 3rd season on her now). She is the smartest deer I've ever seen. Everytime I see her she's already seen me. And if I so much as breath within 300 yards she and the others are gone.just last Saturday her and another doe were taking turns watching me while they ate. I officially accepted this challenge last year when she was pregnant. Now that little fawn is no longer nursing she's going down.but if I don't get her soon she will be having another little one,and I'll have to wait.
Love seeing you out there Hank,I seen you some years back in Macon ga at the colosseum well many years back but you and your dad and all the old country singers is what I grew up on and let me tell that's when country music was real music what an era to grow up in love man a country boy can and will survive
YES SIR, A country boy can survive and you encourage that survival every time you sing the song , love it 👍👍👍 Congratulations on such a great deer as well Hank 🦌🦌🦌
It's a Family Tradition and I have always Loved Hank Williams and Later I Listened to His Father and they are both a Family Tradition that will Live forever and a Country Boy can Survive.
goes to show you no matter who it is, a deer hunt can put smile on your face, and everyone of us turn country boy, forgetting all the world around us, and enjoying God creation and what he intened us to do.
Nice buck Hank, good to see you. 20 years ago I read an article on how you customized your Ruger Super Blackhawk. I sent mine out to Mag na Port and copied your build. Belated thanks.
Hank Jr. hunting on you tube? TV worth watching . I wore out 3 "Greatest hits volume 3" tapes riding around the back roads from hunting spot to hunting spot back in the day! Great shot Bocephus !
We can skin a buck, and run a trot line, cause a country boy can survive! Absolute stud of a buck. Congratulations Hank! I live in Kentucky, and you can come hunt on my farm anytime you want to.
I had this on VHS knight&hales...they sat around a campfire and Hank Jr played his guitar.....that old tape is probably up at deer camp in the old hunting trailer
I remember hank when David Hale and Harold night sat around a fire and Hank sang some songs…. Like Kentucky. It was windy as hell and tree stands made you sick..good times Ahh damn, I didn’t know this was the clip. I was with K&H back then. I remember him teasing folks and just having a good old time. One of my favorite questions I asked him ….. Tell me about your neighbor Brenda Valentine… haha. Jim Strelec was a character Hank had fun with. I’d love to go back to them days, and relive them, but know how to soak it all in better.
a country boy can survive ! probably one the first songs i remember my mom jamming when i was little shit head , still love till the day ! miss my mom so much though
Congratulations on a very fine Bluegrass Buck Hank! Your raw emotion in this footage reveals so much! Happy for ya sir! You can skin a buck and run a trot line. Us country boys can survive! Great Job to you and Tony!
Thank you, Jason! A lot of people don't understand how hard is to film a hunt. You have to be on guard and catch the action as it unfolds. I appreciate the kind words! .
@@wildestcowboy2668 I filmed it. Yes, it's hard to film a good hunt. The hunter can I relax but the cameraman always has to have his head on a swivel. It was fun filming Hank he was a good hunter.
Good to know Hank likes to hunt here in my Home state of Kentucky. He's welcome to hunt my 174 acres here in Garrard co anytime he feels like it. The Natives called Kentucky the happy hunting grounds. Id love to sit down after a hunt and play guitar with ol Hank. Tell him Kentucky Loves Him😎🎸🇺🇸
Absolutely....A Country Boy can survive.....:-) Thanks for taking me along Hank, do you ever get to Dover Foxcroft Maine anymore? I used Pro Cover for years....:-)
