I saw Hank Jr. in concert just last year (2022) and he still puts on just as great of a show now as he did then. Can't wait to see him again in just a few weeks.
It’s amazing how Hank JR totally went his own way, determined to make his own legacy, and ended up being bigger and better than his Dad. His dad was the king and he’s great….but JR surpassed him in every way. Jr is a better vocalist with a wide range of singing ability. He plays every instrument on stage like a pro. He wrote more hit songs. Most of all JR learned how to live longer than his Dad. I’m not taking away from his great dad, I LOVE Hank SR, but JR deserves the recognition that he surpassed his dads talent AND legacy. Add the mountain fall to the equation and it’s almost super human that JR was able to come back like he did! I think as a whole package JR is the most talented country music artist to ever live
Helps that he spent his youth trying to emulate his dad so he learned a wide variety of skills he wouldn’t have had if he went straight to rock n roll country. For example, he can yodel like a natural
Hank Williams Jr. will never be as good as his father. His father is still played to this day. Only time will tell if he is played as long after his demise as his father was!
Hank Jr is a force of nature, consummate musician and pure showman. I've been to several shows of his since 1981.. Every one of them memorable. He makes every attendee feel special.
This Amazing and Awesome Artist- Hank Jr.. is a true friend, cowboy and a good hearted top grade, the best of musical inclined, best of All Time 🤠 Thanks for the show 👏👏👏

Johnny Reb I agree with ya brother!!! Just 3 weeks ago I thought bout all the real ones that have gone already and made me think how life would change for all us loyal fans the day it happens. Honestly? It made my heart sink and I truly shedded tears just at the thought!!!!
When I saw Hank Williams Jr perform in Augusta GA there was a huge rainbow that stretched across the entire city. I’ve seen a lot of concerts in my day but that was absolutely the greatest I’ve attended I absolutely loved it! God Bless Bocephus!
I remember watching this on Pay-Per-View back in 1989 when I was 7 years old. I haven't seen it since then. It's still as amazing as I remember it being and it brings back a ton of memories. Thanks for posting this.
how is there a single dislike for this video? some kid stumbles upon it and doesnt understand the magnitude of the impact bocephus has had on the entire country music world...dont dislike it, just mosey onto the next rap video that will mold your brain into something that wont last in your soul. thanks
One of the most talented musicians I’ve ever seen. So crazy how he plays every single Instrument so well. Such a great performer too, never a dull or boring moment throughout this entire concert.
I saw hank jr in the summer of 1979 on his whiskey bent and hell bound tour at redrocks colorado , he was wild at that time period , it was the cocaine cowboy day's 😉hanks energy was insane !!! A dam good concert !!! Worth every penny ! Get this tickets were $ 13 dollars G.E 😊
I had the pleasure of seeing Hank in concert many times thanks to a very wealthy college roommate that loved Hank. This show is about the time Highway 101 and Georgia Satellites would be the opening acts. What a show we enjoyed.
Killer band he toured with. Man I remember being a freshman in college and a couple guys I met were music majors, percussion to be exact. One of them bought Hank Jr live and was kept bragging about this drummer, how tight he was. Pretty sure it was this one, if this is the live album they actually packaged for sale back in '88 I believe.
I saw him around this era. Can't remember if it was before or after. He was with the Kentucky Head Hunters in Edmonton. I was pretty young. He was drunk off his ass. Had front row seats and still am so happy I got to see him drunk or not.
Hi. Hoping you will help me. My friend Carol Borison's husband Bradley Borison (Event TV) Produced this concert for Hank. The copy of the tape was lost. Is there any way I can arrange to get a copy of it including the credits?
Hank can I tell you something Hank sr and you are one of a kind just like Shannon I've followed you from whiskey Bent and hellbound back in 1979 that was my first 8 track yah and the Williams family is nothing but is all different in there music but everyone is remarkable in how they keep it country Miele and your dad and mother is smiling down This is for the Randal Williams Jr family we all love what you have done ... Hank I really appreciate your music it's about time you show your number 1 fan's that you will always be going Hank I can't be number one fan because you have so many around the world my hat's off to Randal Williams!!
I seen him in Texarkana Texas, well you know Texarkana and Arkansas and Louisiana connect. I live in Queen City Texas. I was raised in Louisiana ,Cajun country Lake Charles,Sulphur. Love ya Hank Jody Keister
I absolutly love Hank, but I wish he would perform the songs the way they were recorded, at least the more country 70s early 80s ones. My uncle Mack was friends with him and wrote some songs for him.
Bradley Borison. Event TV produced this concerts. Waylon Jennings was to appear but walked off. Hank said the he'll with it and did the show by himself. A great concert
I watch and listen to this at least once a week and drink beer after work but, why the delay on voice to sound? There was this same show on RU-vid but it's gone? It doesn't start until young country..Idk why it happens jw..
Waylon Jennings walked out because no one would stand for him. He did not care about the fans. Hank did the complete show. I was there with Carol Ann Borison, producer Bradley Borison's wife. We sat on stage and it was the best concert I ever attended. The concert was a great hit.
Yes he does it just like it is he sings Just like it is he's going to beautiful voice very sexy smile and I love everything about him he's a god gift man Hazel straight out person he's truthful he's honest and yes he seems better than his dad did and his new CDs are all about his feelings and that is beautiful you can only keep watching videos and hearing him sing and it makes you happy the way he plays all his instruments how he acts funny and silly and crazy when he comes out on stage the way he talks he is the world of a man
Me too. Lol! In Edmonton with the Kentucky head hunters. He was drunk off his ass. He wouldn't let the last song end. It kept going on and on and on and on. I had to pee so bad but didn't leave until he was done. Haha
I remember that show must have been about 15 years old. My favorite show was when kieth Whitley opened up for him vets memorial Columbus oh 1980 something if I only knew now I would have framed that ticket stub
