kylefer it's not ludicrous at all. Drinking on the streets is illegal in most cities in America, because it's a public safety issue. I shouldn't even have to explain all the reasons why.

Mello Jake well, smoking in public and open carrying ARE a danger to public safety though, I'm in full agreement on that. The thing about alcohol in public is that it SHOULDN'T be an issue - if people could actually handle themselves, but a certain percentage of people get sloppy drunk and become a danger to themselves and others, ruining it for everyone. That's what sucks about it, because I know for me personally, and most of the people I know, we would be able to walk around with a drink and not cause any trouble at all. But there are just as many people out there that would start fights, walk into oncoming traffic, put others in danger in various ways. I'm not saying that's the way it should be, I hate it as much as you do. It's just the way it is.
