The Hans post game interview was hilarious. The interviewer was like "actually this is holdable for white according to the computer" and Hans is like 'k idc lol computer dumb.'

The chess speaks for itself fr tho, great games by everyone and while I'm sad Magnus's 2900 journey has been slowed, still cool to see a bit of redemption for Hans, he's cool

aside from soviet players back in the day(which is also true for a lot of russian players today) chess masters always have, you just werent paying attention.
@@melchormendoza Hans is just very expressive in the way he says things. Chess masters often aren't so in interviews but nothing was stopping them. You're right in that he's not ground breakingly open but his interviews still feel unique

I learnt the basic of chess at a very li'l age but due to the fact that I was from a poor family could not pursue it at that age. I am 28 years old now, one day your channel came to my youtube suggestions and I started learning the game to achieve the peek of my skills on the board of black and white. You inspire a lot of people daily with your content and your unique method of explanation. Thanks and keep up the good work.

@@dariogutierrez6716 My intention was not to say Hans is a novice, but rather that sometimes a less skilled person can still best a more skilled opponent just out of luck or coincidence.
I loved the game Hans played and the interview he gave afterwards. Such an enthousiastic and honest guy full of energy and potential, looking foreward to see what he can do in the future!
He plays abit weird, but not as weird and pepega aggressive like Levon, and not as aggressive as Alireza either... I don't really like Levon and Alireza plays okay I guess, Hans on the other hand plays slightly aggressive but still solid... A bit like Hikaru's playstyle IMO... I kinda like his playstyle... Let's look at the game between Niemann and Carlsen. 13. Rfd1 instead of the correct Bxf6 21 c4 - sacrificing a pawn for very little compensation 28 g4?? 30 a4 instead of Bxc4 Niemann also didn't play the most accurate moves to bring home the point. Carlsen lost because he played badly in this game and not because of any computer-like brilliance from Niemann.

I always day dream about myself in situations where I somehow beat the "best of the best" in whatever (sports, chess, cooking, etc) and what I would say in an interview afterwards. It's not far off from the vibe of how this guy handled his interview lol. I love it!
If i can beat stockfish without anyone coaching or aiding me, without any cheating or any help from any engine or player, what's the point of beating Magnus? So what? You happy now? I'm so confused. It looks like Magnus threw this game. Why not play Kxg4 at 23:45? Then go after the h6 pawn... Also why a few moves back did he not take the b7 pawn with the rook?

This crazy people all up in arm about cheating but the game looks like Carlson just made bad strategic decisions and gave a game to a player who was having a good game
And then Magnus cried "cheeeater" like a baby.. Seriously, I see a completely fair normal win for Hans where magnus made mistakes and Hans took advantage of it. Grow up!

what niemann meants with the chess spoke for itself was that the engine was playing for him, it's clear as days that that's what it mean. he pretty much said that you can clearly see im using the engine to win in chess

Magnus suspected that there was a mole - a leaker - in his inner circle, someone very close to him. So he prepped an obscure line he had never played before, and his suspicions were confirmed when Hans fell for the trap - Hans admitted in the post game interview that it was "a miracle" that he prepped for that opening in the morning prior to the game - yeah sure. Magnus did not bolt the tournament because he lost a game - he stormed out due to his feelings of a supreme betrayal. In time - we will find out who his Judas was - Judas betrayed Jesus for 30 silver coins.

It's much easier for Magnus to regain World Championship than to reach 2900, which probably nobody will ever reach until chess becomes so boringly drawish that Chess960 becomes the new standard format of chess.
