That drum machine, gets me every time in the chorus section. This band is really good, I like their mock-up of politics as well, focusing on beer and sex.
Wikipedia article for Uber: "In German, über is used as a prefix as well as a word in its own right. Both uses indicate a state or action involving increased elevation or quantity in the physical sense, or superiority or excess in the abstract." And it's not bullshit. Uber was one of the first words my high school German teacher taught us, because he had to teach us that the German meaning wasn't the same as the English meaning(awesome, cool, etc)
*Looks at all the arguing* You all do realize this is an American parody band right? They almost certainly used the American word and meaning of "Uber" on purpose.
to correct you: "awesome, cool" in german means "cool, toll, super" but not fucking uber. only because you do not know this letter, you can't just ignore ü! or ä and ö of course.
>"Uber" without the umlaut is an accepted spelling in Germany that's just plain wrong. not even in colloquial language (seriously, i never ever heard or read 'uber' in a german context and i'm living here for 27years now). besides the fact, that it's not listed in any german dictionary, because it's not a word and a wrong urbandictionary entry doesn't change that ;> (correct is the wiktionary entry stating, that it's an english term derived from german, where 'derived' means wrong spelling xD)
