As a long-time HC player, it's about goddamn time they finally nerfed him a bit from range. He already has some of the best neutral in the game, can convert off basically anything, and gets some of the game's best pressure and mixups from basically nothing. Getting all that alongside some absurdly oppressive zoning has been way too much for a while. I'm a little colder on the increased concentration costs, but we'll see how that plays out.

Good stuff! I can't really recommend a character for you to play because that really depends on what you like. But Jack-O won the last poll so I'm learning her right now. So far she seems very good
Sorry for the late reply. If you're fairly close you can do a microdash c.S and still true string, and slightly further away you can still get a frame trap, it is a bit difficult to get the timing correct though
Question about your guides - you seem to prefer recording un-modded footage, but would you consider having the SF6 Style Frame Viewer mod (WIP) installed for extra clarity, or do you think it'd be too cluttered for your tastes?
I wanted to add the frame advantage mod since I think that'd be the most useful, but it broke and I think the SF6 style frame view will get in the way too much for what I tend to want to show off. I was planning on trying to get the frame advantage mod working for my next video.
I just started playing the game and I was wondering if these nerfs will change the information that your previous guides give it are the Happy Chaos guides still applicable for the most part? :)
A lot of the information is still applicable. The major changes that you'll notice are that 5K 6K doesn't combo anymore, guard crush loops don't work, and there is increased gravity in combos making them either harder or require an extra bullet to do.
I feel like this kinda shows that HC should only have a concentration meter, as the bullet meter makes him more needlessly difficult than he already is with these nerfs
