You had me at 'hot coffee'! Have you done a vid on Roadtrek tires? I went on a recent odyssey learning more than I ever imagined about tires in general ... but also specifically re: Load Range E (sidewalls) for the Class B. I ended up with Falken Wildpeaks for $1K, ugh! There was a lot of back & forth, swapping a little road noise (&$) for a much more stable ride and off-pavement handling. I recalled getting STUCK in a damp, gravel driveway with the top-notch but standard XL BF Goodrich tires (which were in great shape, but 8 yrs old!).

Yes I have talked about tires. And suspension and steering and the importance of maintaining, replacing and repairing when needed. Those are things that aren't "shiny". They are under the vehicle...out of sight...out of most people's minds...never was "in" their mind. The important thing I concluded about tires is to adhere to the manufacturer's specifications. They did the engineering and research. Which didn't involve listening to anybody with an opinion on youtube. They did science. When I replaced the tires on the van, I got the ones that are specified for it versus the ones that were on it. When I turn the steering wheel, the van goes exactly where I point it...no if's, and's or but's.

@@RoadtrekRich Thanks Rich! I'm sure I've seen your vid(s) on all of those components! I had Billstein shocks put on and a steering stabilizer. I did a lot of researching on the tires a few yrs ago, but put off getting them since I wasn't 'using' the van much for the past 2 yrs and the $new tires$ would just be aging in the Fla sun! lol. I stayed w/ the specs as far as size, just upgraded the Load Rating, which is just stronger side walls. It has made an HUGE difference in the handling, The caveat is, you can't get Load E's in a standard light truck tire, much less for my 15" rims ('95 170). But I should fair (& handle) much better on gravel, dirt, and sandy Fla roads. I find some of the guides & specs a bit tricky between the Dodge manuf. VS. Roadtrek manuf. I'm careful to remember that Dodge specs weren't calibrated for/as a Class B camper.

@@SandySez You're "on it" Sandy! You've got the Roadtrek model I covet. Have you ever watched a Dajiban race video? You won't believe what motorcycle racers in Japan are doing with these vans! They know a thing. or two about suspension and handling!

@@RoadtrekRich ... also a rebuilt tranny, new calipers and entire brake lines and new headlights. I've had the 'Big D' steering stabilizer for 2 yrs and just now got it installed! SO much mechanical work done, now I'm anxious to tackle some 'RT' components! I found the '95 170 about 4 yrs ago, it's also the rare "Arctic Gray" orig paint. I almost had it painted (it was a mess!) when I first got it. I ended up just doing a lot of cosmetic paint work myself and glad i did not get it painted! I bought it a bit prematurely for putting it to use & enjoyment yet but finally hope to soon! I just bought a Lithium battery but want to find someone to help me understand if my old, original charger/converter components are compatible with it or not before I install it! I'm so glad you mentioned the Dajiban!! I'd never heard of it and have been watching vids all morning, lol!! Absolutely hilarious. That guy in Los Angeles has the same factory gray color as mine on his '96.
