That go cart is the story of my life. I have been trying for the last two years to get go carts done for my girls for Christmas. We have had a lot of rain this fall and I got so close. This is a great fix/ build.
Love this channel. Always been a gear head just started dipping my toe into the go kart world. My wife said the go kart needs to be faster and i said say no more. Thanx for all the content to help me along.
Just starting a project with my grandson, I've had an antique kart in the garage attic for quite a while and he had this idea for another project to do together. What a great way to spend time with him. Watching a lot of your videos and learning all kinds of useful tips along the way, Thanks for sharing knowledge with us DIY weekend warriors.
You make kart building look so easy. I decided to try a go kart myself using go power sport parts and again you were right. They had most of what I need and a fair price. Thant you so much for all you help!
I truly appreciate how thorough you are when you explain your process. Most channels explain 1/2 of the process. This video will be a huge help since the next tool I am buying is a tube bender. It has been awesome learning with yall thank you.
Great stuff. Love the channel. Where is lonnie!!! Hey don't leave your chuck key in your chuck in that nice lathe. Somebody could get hurt or die. A curious kid wants to be like his nice daddy and hits the go button. That thing is a missile. Thanks for the cool carts. You all seem like good people
You have a deadly weapon loaded, cocked, and safety off in your shop right now. If your cute little South Bend lathe unexpectedly or expectedly starts, the chuck key will launch and embed itself in the forehead of the closest person. BAM! There goes Goliath all over again!
I was up in your neck of the woods today doing door work at wally world, thought about you, and still want to get you down to the drag strip or the dirt track one weekend, in Chattanooga. we could work out a cool video testing....lol hope God blesses you richly in the coming year. "doc"
Not only an awesome builder, but this giant Red Bearded leprechaun is an awesome teacher as well. And his lovely wife isn't afraid to get her hands dirty also, gotta love that! Keep up with your videos and we'll keep watching. Happy New Year and all the best to your family and friends.
Hey Greg, great cheap way to save your welding shield, use pledge furniture polish. Not the cleanser, the polish. I spray a little on there, and wipe it off to clean the shield, then put a little more on there and ‘buff’ it until it has turned into a thin clear layer. It really helps keep the spatter from sticking to the plastic. I used to do it every morning, and it made my lens last three times as long…
Love your channel, I look for each new installment . I'm using what I've learned from your channel to tackle an off-road go kart build. It's a Duromax 440, double wish bone front, swing arm rear. There are builds & rebuilds when serial number 1 needs to be better. Your previous videos are a valuable resource for refining the build.
he will cut the axle to width ,, he shows that on other Go Kart videos ,, the axle stock comes long like that . if left long on the ends it would bend with out bearings near the wheels ..
@@RedBeardsGarage a big question i do have. I am on a tight budget, and do not have any type of pipe bender. Is there a effective way to bend piping without a bender?
This looked like a fun little build I enjoyed watching it. Thanks for sharing it with all of us. I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas and may God continue to bless you and yours.
A very Happy New Year to you and Mrs Red Beard. She’s a gem by the way, you take good care of her. Thanks for another year of great videos. Be well, and God bless you both.
That's some Awesome information.I recall you putting a bolt through a nut welded to a cart for a 'Pedal-Stop' so a parent can limit the throttle ,and adjust as the kids grew and were better drivers. What a Great year, watching you guys with all the fun,and adventures.TY.Happy New Year to you all,and the fans everywhere.
Your work is awesome. I enjoy watching and learning from your ideas. Thanks 👍. Gals you and your family had a great Christmas. We did as well! I look forward to seeing your future builds. Also, get the super charged 670 back out for a rip. Love the sound and performance of it ...GREAT JOB
Hope you and the Family had a great Christmas. So a lot of folks like to rebuild the swingarm to fit a Predictor. Thats a first for me. I thought a 150cc would have more power then a 212. Hope you all have a great New Year.
